Well the universe sent me some energy. But because everything has to balance it took it from my electric scewdriver.
The last three screws went in by hand - and nearly went in by hammer IYSWIM:rotfl::rotfl:
ALL DONE ..................... and I never want to look at another set of pine shelves in my life.
Wonder whats on the list for tomorrow
mg
That would be white shelves then:D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Thats just plain EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
They have all gone from the house - school bus just came to collect them, so I am sitting here with a throbbing right hand (no jokes please) and NOTHING to show for a long hard days work:eek:
Ah!! but now I get to spend an hour in the company of a pipe band cos its ds1's band practice night - earplugs anyone???:D
SCHOOL PACK_UPS
Mon white bread, dairylea and cucumber. Lemon drizzle cake. apple
Tues Muffin sized frittatas, chopped pepper and cherry tomatoes
Raisin bread
Wed HM Hummus with pepper and carrots and hm pitta. HM flapjack and a banana
Thurs pasta salad, hm apple and oat muffin. pear.
Frid HM pancake wraps with dairylea and cucumber. Fruit jelly. hm Weetabix cake. after swimming: Blueberry muffin and hm hobnobs.
The plan is to make a batch of each of the baking bits and freeze them individually - so that i just have to pop one out of the freezer and into the lunchbox in the morning. That goes for the wraps and pitta bread too. The hobnobs get frozen in their raw form and baked in the morning in the halogen oven - why???????? because if they are baked i eat them all of course:rotfl::rotfl:
This gets ds1's vote of approval - so now i need to write it up on the planner and start batch baking.
Off to band practice

Have been lurking on flylady sight so spent today catching up on here. So much has happened cant believe HTH hitting MG. I had to re read it as l thought l got it wrong. Have you heard any more about what he is going to do ie anger management ?
I have been in full decluttering mode which is just as well DH has been laying new floor and pulling everything out of the cupboards to break them down. The house looks like one of those hoarder ones in America but it could have been worse if l hadn't decluttered beforehand.
Have not done very well on spend days but had a lot more NSD so feel a bit happier about that. Weightwise - not good but have not given up yet! Is there a link to this couch to 5K. Do you have to run or can you just walk fast. I am on the over endowed side up top and l really don't want any flapping about - they would be a hazard to my eyesight(
Anyway just going to check Reddie and then off to bed with Robert Patterson - unfortunatley have to be in print only as l have just got the book Twilight. Night all tomorrow is another day xxx Mooooooooooooooooooo:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Welcome aboard Moobear - sounds like you are having a busy old time.
Well the universe is sending me hints this morning - great big lurking ones. I've already been contacted by two very upset parents in brum that I know, who have teenagers. Both kids didn't get the grades they wanted and now don't know if they will even be able to get places in clearing.
About 18 months ago I offered to spend a day with these two - and six of their friends to share my course and set them up with great study habits. Looks like the six who bothered to turn up that Saturday got excellent grades (still to hear from one but other five got fabulous grades) - and the two who thought it was a waste of a Saturday - well, I feel so sorry for the hurt they are feeling today.
I guess my dream job would be to get hold of every 16 year old in the country and share with them these skills that make studying sooooo easy - and make sure they can get the results they want for the dream of a life they envisage.
So todays question for the universe - and its corporeal helpers in cyberspace.
"Show me how to connect with the universe so that the huge numbers of students who want to excel can quickly find me and we can share these easy techniques to help them build the foundations of a fabulous life as i continue to generate abundance for my family?"
1. Get a teenager to start a "viral networking" campaign
2. Offer my services to a test school (create a report to use in other lea's)
3. Local press
4. advertise
5. Leaflet campaign
6. facebook and other social networking sites
Off to do a spot of housework to getthe dreative juices flowing.
back soon

Good day Memorygirl, good day all,
MG, straight to your question while my people here are playing table tennis. My feeling is that you will have to develop a proper training course with everything - the presentations, exercises, material, the works. If I were doing this, I would design modules which are easy to reconfigure for different target groups (different age groups included).
If you would like to talk more let me know - I'll send you a message.

Hi
My DD2 is amongst the slightly disappointed, she got BBCC in her AS instead of AABB or even AAAA (one can but dream), it might be something like your course that she would need to help her up a grade. She also has a handful of slightly disappointed friends.
Maybe you should offer it as a weekend course based at a youth hostel or something like that to keep the costs down?
Alternatively my DD goes to a big sixth form college with over 1200 pupils maybe if you contacted them, you could use their premises to offer a Saturday course? I'm sure there would be enough interest to fill it.0
