£197 into my bank this morning - Woo hoo.
What next? Nice big potatoes in my garden when I harvest them.

Up bright and early this morning - one load of washing done - another in the machine and about to strip the boys beds to go in next.:p
everyone else is moving boxes at the school today (I ended up sorting the hiring of the van for the bus driver to drive, but seeing as I packed all the boxes, my job with them is completly done.
When it is just the teachers on-site (from tomorrow) I will get involved again helping them sort out the environments.
So today needs to be super-duper productive and positive here at Casa MG. I will hit my kitchen hot-spot and clear it and then I will head to my office and sort that through one last time.
Need to chase the joiner for his price for the studs and settle a date to get them done.
I now know that i am searching for 6.8m x 3m wide vinyl flooring to finish the hallway. I'm thinking a nice mid-oak plank would be perfect ,but so far the cheapest I've seen is £8.99 per sqm - but thats full price in a shop. I desire now to find some on sale or on offer at £4.99 / £5.99 sqm because with a bit of wiggling I can fit that in to my budget and then my hallway will look gorgeous (and safe for the baby and eay to keep clean):j
in between, there is writing, planning and cooking to be sorted through, but DS1 is away until tea-time so I can spend my day fitting around DS2.
Off to make some pumpernickel bread for lunch and bring the bedding downstairs.
Don't you find the hour before breakfast is the most productive of the day???
The good news is that if I am carefull with spending this week, on friday I should be able to draw out another £125 and colour in another leaf on my tree.:T:T

Morning MG. Glad things are moving on at the school for you. Wow so much done before breakfast. I love early mornings when everythings seems new and all is quiet. Pumpernickel bread sounds interesting. I have just taken a spiced fruit loaf out of the oven for my breakfast. Made the dough last night and left it to rise in the airing cupboard! Came back from my morning walk with Moo and the whole house smelled lovely. Just put a malt loaf in and then heading to the study to crack on with work.
Nice to see your leaves building up. With the vinyl flooring have you had a look around at some of the smaller local shops rather than the big carpet places. I ask because I used to always used a local one where I lived and they would always be cheaper. Also they often had offcuts or roll ends that they sold off cheaply. If you find one and pop in and tell them what you are looking for and your budget they may even let you know if they have offuts left. It is really worth getting friendly with them. My last carpet was a third of the price just because it was a roll end. I did wait for it though. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

I am usually still asleep the hour before breakfastIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

Snap. If not doing my damndest to get DS2 to go back to sleep. Like this morning. Breakfast is eaten at my desk in work.
Had a lovely week off with OH and my boys. Lots of family time, swimming, cinema, bowling, park etc.
Have caught up this morning and I too am disgusted by HTH behaviour. Have you had contact from any of the witnesses regarding their reaction to the event? To check on you? I do not know how you did not smack him back. But as usual you seem to have handled the situation with a huge amount of grace and dignity. And I take my hat off to you.
Now I really need to start making some head way into saving some money for rainy days, emergencies and the dreaded Christmas. Have just heard that X-factor starts this weekend. Surely that means that Christmas is just around the corner?
I think will start with meal planning and reducing shopping bills.0 -
