Did you ever get a response on this?
I've just posted a thread regarding our experience of having stuff stolen from our faulty locker - search Champneys theft in the search box0 -

My wife is going on a spa break with a friend in two weeks (to another spa, not Champneys). She would have loved me to buy her a spa break at Champneys some time in the future. There is no way I will be doing that now. Not with that awful customer service. Forget if the original complaint is accurate or not. It's no longer relevant. Why would I want to give money to people who clearly don't care about their customers?0

I was considering a relaxing weekend at Champneys. Having read this thread I'm shocked, appalled and will now seek an alternate venue.
The replies from the company itself are unbelievable!Starting Weight (19/02/12): 17st, 1lb. Target Weight: 14st

I visited Forest Mere for the second time earlier this week and I can't fault the staff who were all lovely and attentive. We were day guests but arrived late and missed our first treatment slots. The receptionists sorted this out really quickly for us, rebooked them and let us know we could stay a bit later to make up for it. Our therapists were lovely and although they did hand us lists of the products they used, they didnt push us to purchase anything.
I agree that some of the facilities are quite tired and scruffy (i.e. the steam room and sauna in the changing rooms bit), not really the standard you would expect and a bit disappointing. There are definitely not enough loungers, I think the place would benefit from some more spaces for just relaxing in. The whirlpool/jacuzzi thing is obviously a complaint they get a lot as there was a sign up explaining that it wasnt a jacuzzi (i.e. hot) but was a whirlpool. I didnt know the difference and would have preferred a jacuzzi myself!
I was also really concerned to hear about the person who had things stolen from their locker. We struggled to open our lockers and several times saw staff having to come and let people in to a locker without any way of really checking that it was theirs.
I would go again without hesitation as I think their deals are very good value, the treatments are lovely and the staff make you feel really special however I can understand how some people are disappointed by the facilities as it could definitely do with a bit of money spending on it. I would also be very disappointed if I had received the same responses as the OP.0 -
Dear Champney haters,
I am desperately trying to find a valid direct email / written contact for Champneys' Head Office (I understand it is in Tring), to file a complaint over an abusive phone call with a family member regarding a treatment query for the use of a £300 gift voucher I purchased for them. If anyone would be kind enough to help me take them down, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was a member of tring (allowed use of pool, classes, discount on treatments etc..) when I lived locally.
It wasn't cheap but it was wonderful.
Towels , robes provided and cosmetics etc. provided, wonderful service .. Always clean and beautifully maintained.
I thought they apoligsed and you I am sooty seem to be a bit ridiculous , shame the power or the Internet allows those with a screw loose to wield such power..
You from what I can read did not spend 300 ish on treatments you seem to say you used vouchers ... That's not money !0 -

And if the voucher were purchased with money then it's the same.0
