actually I find it highly interesting... Don't get me wrong if you have spare cash and prefer collecting shoes to old cars, porcelain dogs or buttons then by all means... But these aren't collections for keeping are they? They are wardrobe items, used and worn. This is why I find it interesting
Why this compulsion to buy more shoes? I buy my shoes in sales as and when I need a new pair. Ok I admit it! I have actually bought a pair once to match a dress for a wedding! I did a mental count and think I have about 10 pairs of "foot wear" that includes 4 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of trainers and 4 pairs of heels. HOW I manage I have no idea...
ok ok I do really - I just don't have a shoe fetish
I like spending my money on paying off my debts, enjoying my social life with my friends and family and the occasional treat for me and the OH Shoes? I'm 5 foot 8 with a large chest... I can't recall the last time any one noticed my feet - my cleavage yes... feet... nope...

Don't worry, I am sure someone will re 'vamp' the thread - it's not quite down on its 'uppers'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

heel heel!
Personally I agree with you GP, call me judjemental if you want, but I just find this sort of thing a bit offensive. And I think it gives women a bad name. Not so much the buying of said items, but the vanity, I see feminism regressing every time I see reports like this. God women, ( and vain men, of course) pull yourselves together!!
Now talking of people who "need a slap"
this lass gets my vote for the 2.50 for a loaf of bread comment on spendaholics a few weeks back
Anyway, thats enough of me *pump*ing out hot air im flip (flop) ing well outta here! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
