Thanks Terri, I've had a chat with her today about the SPD - she's mentioned the sexy belt too! I think I was having a rough day with it when I wrote that post, because after a few nights of sleeping/sitting/moving very carefully, the pain isn't half as bad, and I'm not limping as much (just the first few steps when I get up). So the midwife has basically said that we will review it again in 3 weeks, and if there is any worsening of the symptoms, she will arrange something, but if it gets worse in the meantime, I should contact her or the GP as soon as possible.

I just wanted to say as well, I really appreciate the advice you have given me, it's lovely how supportive people are on here!

Hubby has just rung to say the garage have called him - now bear in mind I'm not too good with cars but what has happened is something like 'Number 4 misfired and shorted out the coil so it needs new spark plugs, new coil and new wires, total cost £209' (if this doesn't make sense, it's probably me that's got it wrong). So not as bad as it could have been...phew! It will stretch the budget a bit, but bearing in mind my Mum & Dad are buying the buggy, it wont have to eat into the baby fund.

Completely off-topic, I'm having a weird craving... for that gloopy sugary creamy stuff that I can't remember the name of (condensed milk?). God, there's no WAY I'm eating that.....must....fight....craving.......:(

It's nice - especially on bread. Unless you're thinking of evaporated milk - that's not so nice on bread...

Well done on the car - the gods are smiling on you...

I bet it would taste nice on bread actually.....although it gives me terrible spots if I have it. I love making fridge cake out of it (butter, digestive biscuits, condensed milk and dried fruit, topped with chocolate.....disgusting but yummy lol!).

I don't know if you saw my apology on the thread about central heating - hope I didn't offend you?

Hi Annie, thanks for the hug.....feeling okay about everything really....the car could have been a lot worse, and the baby is doing great, so I couldn't ask for much more! How's everything with you? Have they sorted out hubby's pay?

I think that would be too sickly sweet for me. My Dad might like it. He's the one who can eat condensed milk straight out of the can. All of it.

Do be silly - there was no need to apologise - takes a bit more than calling me old to offend me. Besides, I might be ancient, but I'm still younger than Martin.
