Right, I've finally rung the tax credits people and updated my details. Just have to wait now and find out if I'm entitled to anything. They probably wont actually pay me anything but at least if I'm entitled to a higher amount, it will clear the overpayment quicker.

I can't find Stu's CV anywhere (I'm sure it was stored on our computer but it seems to have gone astray) so we will have to start from scratch with it I think (I'll be typing it for him as spelling, grammar and punctuation are not his strong points....nor mine for that matter but I'm a *bit* better than he is). It's ages since I've done a CV, might have to look around on the web for a template.

I'm just watching 'Special Delivery' and one of the women had the same problem as me, with the fetal heart rate dropping with each contraction - it was frightening to watch - I've got really good memories of Natasha's birth, but thinking how easily something could have gone badly wrong is just terrifying. I'm not going to torture myself with that thought though, I'm just going to make sure I remember how lucky I was that my labour progressed so quickly and I was still able to have a safe, normal(ish) delivery.

She's a bit poorly today though, she's doing exploding nappies (the ones that fill the feet of her sleepsuit!) and throwing up. She's a bit grisly too, but she's sleeping through most of it. I'm wondering if it's because she was outside yesterday when it was really hot. She's not dehydrated and is feeding okay though.

Oh I have to tell you this.....Ryan has taken to calling her 'Gnasher' (as in Dennis the Menace and Gnasher) because he says it's short for Natasha!

    Hi Snaggles

I had the same problem with OH's CV - couldnt find the b-ugger anywhere!! Had to do him another last night - because of the trade he is in it wasnt as detailed as mine but still gets his experience accross!!

If you want to use the template just PM me :)

PS: hope little Natasha is feeling better soon - have you tried her with some cooled boiled water?

Thanks tigtag, I would love the template if you don't mind - shall I pm you my email address?

I haven't tried her with cool boiled water yet, although I think I might have to, it might help. I'm not sure how to give her it though, as she's never had a bottle. I know some babies will take it from a spoon or a cup, but I've never fed a tiny baby that way before. Oh, it's scary having a newborn and not having a clue what you're doing!

Edit - are you really in the Dennis the Menace fan club?? :D

  • Sorry to hear about those nappies Snaggles, they sound less than pleasant for both of you

    Hope she's feeling better soon!
