Maybe I'm just lazy - I liked the lack of effort - I swear though that the hospital had a fridge just in MY name ;)

Oh I've heard of that stuff, it's supposed to be good, I read about it on a baby forum somewhere and a woman who was adopting took it so she could breastfeed the baby, and it worked! Wonder if it would work on men??

Erm, have a read of this http://www.unassistedchildbirth.com/miscarticles/milkmen.html

Some of my colleagues reckon I should have a fridge just in my name too- they get squeamish about seeing my little containers even though I try to hide them :o

Expressed milk looks so gross though, doesn't it...when it separates and you get the almost clear liquid with the fatty bits floating on top......gahhhh!

    Afternoon lovely people :)

Well, hubby has been told he will get his 12 week notice of redundancy on the 2nd of July, so he will finish work on the 24th September.

They've said that they might let him finish earlier if he finds another job but it's down to his managers discretion. Strangely I just feel relieved that he finally knows what's happening and when.

He'll get 8 weeks pay because he's been there 8 years.....not a lot really, so will HAVE to stick to budgets etc and hope he finds another job quickly.

    Hurray....I have a money-saving tip:

Nappy changing usually goes like this in our household - I take nappy off, clean Natasha up, put new nappy on, Natasha promptly fills new nappy, I remove nappy, clean her up, put new nappy on, Natasha fills new nappy again.....

Today I took her nappy off and let her lie on her changing mat for ten minutes with a couple of sheets of super-absorbant kitchen roll under her bum. She weed and pooed onto this, so I replaced it with a couple more sheets, which she weed pooed on again - then I cleaned her up and put her nappy on. The kitchen roll was much cheaper than wasting several nappies, plus getting the fresh air to her 'bits' will help her to not get nappy rash - yay!

This probably seems really obvious to all you Mums, but I'm rubbish at stuff like this, and feel a teeny bit proud that I thought up a money-saving solution! :D

She is, to coin a phrase, sh*tt*ng for Britain lol! As for what I'm feeding her Lenny.....it's all good stuff - chips, chocolate, beer, curry.......a normal 3 week old baby diet...:D

She trumps really loudly when she poos too, it's really funny lol!
