I hadn't thought of that.....I'll have to hope he's grown out of it by then, but I doubt it somehow.
Weller, I wanted to ask you, was it you who said you use the Omega 3 supplement? If so, which one do you use, and have you tried others? DS has the Haliborange one, but I keep hearing about eye-q and wondering if I should be trying it. It's so expensive though, but it would be worth it if it helped him (he has adhd). Sorry if I've mixed you up with someone else, and feel free to pm me if you don't want to discuss it in public."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hi Snaggles
Yes it was/is us that give our DS that "horrible medicine" lol. It is Eye Q and I know its expensive but we normally buy it when its on a 3 for 2 at Boots. Sam has dyspraxia (a bit like dyslexia) and as said before couldn't speak until he was nearly five and was behind when started school and was also terribly naughty both at home and school and since giving him this we have noticed his speech, reading, writing, behaviour - in fact everything - has improved dramatically and he has just sat the Year 2 Stats and his teacher put him in for the highest one ITMS. It takes about 3 months to start working and we had to make sure we gave him it even when we weren't sure it was working but I wouldn't for a minute stop giving him it now, I can't recommend it enough. Don't get me wrong he can still be naughty (like all little boys) but at least now its controllable if that makes sense.
Forgot to say, we researched the different Omega 3 supplements and found that Eye Q came out tops in studies at Durham University. Its been a lifesaver!!!

I think I'll give it a try, thanks. Ryan has trouble concentrating, struggles to control his impulsive behaviour, and gets lost in his own little world a lot of the time. Is it the liquid you give him? I think there was vanilla or citrus flavour when I looked in Boots last time I went."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Yes, its the liquid we give him , hang on I'll just look in the fridge to see what flavour it is....................
its vanilla. It sound ideal for Ryan, similar problems to Sam.
Hope it works for Ryan too xx0 -
