I can cope with the nappies, it's the throwing up that upsets me, because if she's lying down, she sort of chokes on it a bit before she manages to spit it out - I keep having to leap up and pick her up. She's asleep now but will be needing another feed before long, and then it'll start again....

We're going to see Ryan's teacher today after school - I'm hoping she will say he's been behaving better for the last couple of days, because he's definitely been more settled at home. He must still be doing his work because he's won a 'wall of fame' award at school (its a weekly award for good work), so fingers crossed.

The car is going in for it's wing replaced today too.....goodbye savings, it was nice knowing you...briefly!

Well, Stu's car is taxed and MOT'd and is now at the accident repair place having a new wing fitted and a bit of a respray. And my car is taxed for another year too. Just added up what we have spent on cars this month, and it's £715  not including anything like petrol or insurance  .

We have been really bad today and spent £40 on the visa card - I'm still on full pay for another month so we will be able to pay it off, but grrrrrr.....!

It was for Ryan's birthday present though, and it was an absolute bargain, a fantastic bmx style bike with gears and.....um.....what's the springy bit called.......oh, suspension (still suffering with 'baby brain' lol), which was reduced from £80 to £40 in Asda this afternoon. His birthday isn't till September so we've put it in the loft for now, so he wont see it.

We had a bit of a result while we were in the loft, Stu found my breast pump from when I had Ryan, so I've washed it and it's now being sterilised. There's a little bit that's broken, but I think it should still be okay. That's saved us buying a new one or having to express by hand which I'm rubbish at!

The meeting with Ryan's teacher was horrible, he's really unsettled at school and seems to have got worse recently, probably because of the new baby. I was so upset I got really tearful, because we are trying so hard with him and it's difficult to know what else we can do to help him.

His teacher does seem to want to help though, they are doing a behaviour chart for him at school (a few of the more 'challenging' children (there are quite a few) in his class have these), and are also going to write another report on him ready for our next visit to the behaviour clinic in June.

Thanks Mrs Sparkle - I wasn't brave really, I was terrified lol - but it was such an amazing experience, if I could do it again now, I would! And the gas and air was fab - didn't really have chance to have any during labour (just a whiff while they examined me) but I got quite into it when I was being stitched afterwards!! I wanted to bring it home with me :D

Hi Snaggles, sorry that you had a crap meeting with the teacher - why do they always manage to make us feel Soooooo bad  Not fair!

At least some good stuff has happened too, breast pump and stuff. How sad is it when we get excited about finding something like that up in the loft! We have been on DFW too long!!

I hope you manage to get a good weekend xx

That gas and air is great stuff isn't it. I've already worn out one breast pump :o and am back to my Avent manual one now. I love it and get very obsessed with setting myself expressing targets every day!
