Not much happened in the way of washing in our house yesterday, element blew on tank, so it was kettle washing all round.
Managed to fill DH's empty shower wash with a Champneys aqua shower gel from stash, so one down.
Popped into co-op for mag at lunchtime - oooo marie Claire to read, AND shea body butter to add to stash (:rotfl:) so one up again !2011
Still trying to reduce the toiletries mountain, now a hill........ :j
Sealed Pot Challenge #1221
Less shoes less shoes less shoes etc0 -
I went into Boots today as planned to get a hair colour to use at the weekend. I'd seen the Sanctuary offer on the Quick Grabbit Now thread though and so bought Protective 24-hour moisture lotion SPF 15 for £5.89 (originally £11.77) and got the GWP (mini pamper case containing body lotion, body wash, bath wash and body scrub). Really chuffed as I have nearly run out of a mini size of this moisturiser and love it. It's great under makeup - it really gives your skin a glow and is particularly good for the winter months. I have already got one of these pamper cases as it was a gwp last year and so this latest one will come in handy as a gift for someone.
Until I saw this offer I wasn't going to buy this moisturiser until I'd used up others in my stash but I forgot to take my halo out with me today!0 -
Did you just have to buy one moisturiser to get the GWP as it was originally over a tenner?0

Just a small use up to report - a No 7 Body Wash (forgotten what its called) - only a 40 ml sample tube from a gift set/free gift but it lasted me a week which is very good for me as I usually dollop stuff on.
WIBA - probably not although it was quite nice I think cheaper moisturising shower gels/body washes do the same thing for a much better price.
Working on a Carex one with OH and a Clinique one for me next (he's banned!)
Nothing else seems in danger of being used in the near future0 -

I am proud to say she is no longer without heel height. Her feet have always been ''OK'' with no insurmountable problems, but i'm very pleased with them now.
I wouldnt mind so much - but shes just a normal TB, with stupid feet (as 90% of TBs do!!!) they got a mention on her vetting form, and the insurance company put the exclusion on - but upheld their decision, even when my vet wrote to them and told them that she was sound, before and after flexion tests-but they wont budge. Hey ho - you live and learn !!!
well done on the use ups guys, and small smacked wristies for those who need them !!!! Ive been too busy at work to go out - so am feeling very :A at the moment !!!! :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Finished a Loreal shampoo and a tub of herbal tea today - have hardly made a dent in the last Botanics BB yet, but plenty of other things look as if they might not have that much left in them.... I hope....0

This evening I have gathered up all my moisturisers and put them together in a makeup bag so that it is easy to see what I've got left! I promise not to buy any more until I've nearly run out.

OK, not sure if this counts as slapped wrists or not - yesterday I bought two Sanctuary moisturisers on the GWP glitch - however the GWPs are being put away for Xmas presents - they are worth more than I paid so the moisturisers were effectively the free gifts - does that count as no spend?! No?! Darnit....My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.0 -

I remembered this morning that I'd got some pots of No 7 day cream that are in the drawer under the bed (3 to be exact). Oops. They wouldn't fit in the makeup bag so I've found a bigger toiletry bag so that I can keep them all together. The shame of it all:o. I also found a big pot of Nivea moisturising lotion but I'm not going to count this as it is also for use as a body lotion which is how I'll probably use it!
I must say I like the idea of grouping types of toiletries together as it is easier to keep an eye on exactly what you've got. So far, I've also got shampoos and conditioners together in two drawers, except for about 4 bottles of overspill which are in the drawer under the bed. I've also grouped nail polishes together. Next up for a round up are shower gels. It makes you feel more organised and a bit more in control.0
