Nowt much to tell yet Tara - dont panic, im sure I shall mention things again!!! ;)
weve just had a chat - and being the grown ups that we are, neither of us mentioned it at all - which is a bit of a !!!!!! cos apparently Vauxhall rang tonight (before I got in) to confirm my mot for 8am tomorrow - its never been 8 on Friday !!! (so i was kinda hoping hed ask again,so I could take him up on it for tomorrow!!!!)

luckily mum told them that she was sure Id told her I was in for Saturday - so it shouldnt be too much of a shock when I ring them tomorrow at 8 to tell them that its Saturday Im booked in for.... stupid people - why on earth do they make things so bloody difficult??!!!
AND my insurance company for the horse have dug their heels in about what they are prepared to pay for her lameness problem from 3 months ago (despite my vet coming up with counter arguments for ALL their "reasons") - so we have had to split all the invoices to show what is her front feet, and what is for the rest of her.... so now there will be ANOTHER delay while they try to argue what we've told them now..... and ive just sent the first set of forms off for the tooth.... lets see them try to prove a connection between teeth and low heel conformation of the front feet.... GRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!!!

other than that though, life is good !! still liking the lemon bb - but the smell doesnt last long does it !!

    hugs to everyone, xxxx
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

Morning all. No use ups since my last post but I have managed to acquire via makeupalley.com a Marc Jacobs Daisy shower gel and body lotion. Very :money:don't you think? Helped me get rid of a couple of OPI lacquers that I thought I'd never get rid of as well.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I hve an ''equine podiatrist'' rather than a blacksmith, and I have to say, my horses feet are usually the best they have every been...the old girl, and I've had her for....well, a very long time. I am proud to say she is no longer without heel height. Her feet have always been ''OK'' with no insurmountable problems, but i'm very pleased with them now.

    Morning all,

Gave up on some make up bits and a friend took them happily away:

ELF concealer - WIBA nope. It's the fat twist up one, just had no coverage. I know only £1.50 but £1.50 down the drain. May go back to Rimmel hide the blemish, which haven't bought for years. Or any other recommendations for a good concealer? I have another one in stash (Revlon creamy pot concealer) but that is useless too. This habit of buying cheap rubbish is a false economy. Now buying cheap good stuff should be the plan. Or investing in the good stuff.

:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.

The body shop's tea tree concealer is a new everyday favourite of mine - perfectly matches skin tone and has good coverage, the normal pencil concealer is good too.

For going out make up, i like to use benefit's lying eye's (similar to touch eclat) which i find effective.

why not hold out til the next glamour magazine comes out - i think someone said one of the choices of 3 free gifts was a full size benefit concealer? sorry if i'm wrong!!

    Hello

One UU: SImple Hand Cream. Gone! WIBA: No, not rich enough. I think I've mentioned before and it's officially gone now. Cut the tube and everything!

Well done on the UUS and the soap ideas - I'm gonna take a looky at this. I've been using soapnuts with essential oils, which are fab unless you're doing really dirty stuff (maybe it's my technique though: I've not been able to get OHs work clothes sparkling with them).

    Have a great weekend!

Have one use up to report, a small body lotion. Thought my moisturiser was going to finally give up yesterday with all its spluttering but I decided to try and see if I could get anymore out of it this morning and a nice big blob fell onto my finger  I'm going to use it again tomorrow morning and hope that's the last as I'm adamant I'm not going to to take it on holiday with me.

Almost finished off a talc although I don't think I will quite manage it before hols tomorrow so that one may have to come with me.

Went to Boots yesterday to get some sun cream and thought I would have a look at the clearance. A lot of it was rubbish like it usually is but they had some sensitive smile toothpaste reduced down to 25p each. I bought them because I thought someone on here had recommended it but now I've bought them I'm trying to stop convincing myself that I made it up in my head :) I was chuffed though when they went through the till they were coming up at 342 so the six tubes I picked up only ended up costing me £1.00. Together with the two £1.00 vouchers I used up my total came to less than the cost of the sunscream :j

I know I have sinned slightly but well pleased with my bargain.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010

This is easy to do and not very MS!! One advantage of listing the stash I suppose. DD came home yesterday with M &S sun block stick and a mozzie spray proudly declaring "2 for £5"......this morning I've unearthed 2 more mozzie sprays, one nearly full she's bought previously

Great bargains, where are you going for hols??

I actually have hardly any day moisturisers and am considering buying a P&P day cream, does anyone recommend it? I think Bronnie is a fan but can't remember if anyone else likes it.

tara, I have a new jar that will be opened soon, if you pm your address I'll spoon a dollop out of the new jar (untouched by human hand!!!) and post it in the morning so you can try it. It's too expensive to buy a jar speculatively, I reckon!! Be quick though, cos I'm off on hols again tomorrow night!!

To go totally off-topic, I have a maxi dress which is bias cut and although I love it, I feel as though it clings to my mummy tummy (yes even after 25 years it's still there!), so I bought a pair of body shaper briefs in TJ's last weeks. SA wouldn't let me open the packet to look at them let alone try them on even though they had a hygiene strip..........she obviously went to the "computer says no" school of customer service. They had a long legged type pair on display so I had a go with those even though I just wanted the briefs, seemed ok and as they were a "bargain" at £4.99 bought them. Tried them on today and the stupid things have got a reinforced middle panel from bust to belly button, then it all goes slack again. I wonder can you imagine the effect. It actually pushes the below-the-belly-button tummy out further :( So will have to go back after hols and fight a "not fit for purpose" battle I expect and SA's gonna keep saying " no returns on underwear". I can hear her now!!
