I'll have some trial and error tonight fixx :) thanks very much for the help! homemade pedicure i think tonight!:o

Roshydoshy, I've go the same problem tonight....just on my right foot. I get blisters a LOT and have been avoiding moisturising my feet to try and get them to toughen up. I'm not going to pop, but instead wear some thick soft socks if I can. Mine heal fairly quickly. But I'm annoyed about it. Mine isn't very big, sometimes I get multiple huge ones on soles, so I should be feeling lucky not grumpy

Hi InaPickle! Not sure if it will be of any help but i have acne rosacea and my skin is dry in the places i have it which causes my make up to flake off not long after ive put it on. Ive started using the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser (there is also a rich version too)http://www.simple.co.uk/products/Kind-To-Skin-Hydrating-Light-Moisturiser-125ml-76.aspx

This is great for my skin as it absorbs quickly and makes a nice soft base for my make up to sit on. I think mine cost about £3.

    :o

Thanks for that. I was wondering about getting the Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Moisturiser. I've got oily/spotty/Combination skin, but I've been on holiday in Tenerife and I notice it feels "Dehydrated" now. I wonder if this product will be the best of both worlds. I usually use oil-free moisturisers but I think in this weather I need a bit more "moisture"

    Laydeees, I need some advice:

I need to buy a cheap (but good!) moisturiser that I can use on my combination skin and which will allow my foundation to 'sit' properly on my skin, IYKWIM. Any recommendations? I need something less than £10, please, and the more under, the better.

InaPickle, I use Neutrogena oil-free moisturiser and I think it's brill. It's really light (I hate moisturiser that just sits on your skin) and I wear make up over the top, no problem. I reckon it's worth a try for the few pounds it costs. Good luck

It's a nightmare - especially as the nice weathers starting again  but really, we shouldn't complain having lovely, soft, girlie feet - tha'ts why people buy the foot creams to have tootsies like ours :rotfl: Hope yours get better soon though :)
I went to training last night so last night I thought wearing my sports boots and running on the hard ground would kill but it took all the pressure off the blisters weirdly! I might start wearing the boots on my morning walk!

Ididn't do PYNM and in the last week or so have ''let myself go''. Trying to get back into the routine, because boy does it show!

Hi Lost I am so there with you.

I had a fantastic routine going and then I got a bit busy and my routine has gone out the window, so my stash use up is very little: a P&P small 5ml Serum, a sanctury body scrub and a toothpaste. Should have been a lot more.

So tonight off to have a shower, remove the hair on my legs, arms and other bits :p, moisturise myself, then paint my nails as they haven't been done for weeks.

finished occintanne hair conditioner on holiday, large tube cost about £12:eek::eek::eek:(bought cos though a tube would travel better)WIBA NO,it is no better than a cheap bottle:(:(:(
  • Hello all, hope everyone's doing ok. I have been reading back a few pages and how some people are really going through it at the moment **hugs** to everyone :)

Thanks to people who have posted their lists - I love reading them. I am hopeful that I will get to the stage of being able to count up all the things in my stash without getting an attack of the guilts and abandoning the job halfway through! Things are getting used up though, so progress is being made, although it feels very slow at times.

    Use-ups:
Smiley shower gel - yes, I finished it. WIBA? Yes definately, I love the fragrance, you didn't need much to get a lovely rich lather, and so it was good value for money as very long-lasting.

Boots Spa firming lotion - small tube, can't remember when I got it! WIBA? No, wasn't keen on the smell and it didn't go on very smoothly, or absorb into the skin very easily.

Silvikrin Hairspray - WIBA? Yes but not yet, got one more left and it lasts me a while.

Last bit of a Lush Bathos bubble bar - violets and ylang ylang, lovely! WIBA? Yes once I'm allowed to shop in Lush again.

Nivea Sunkissed Skin gradual tanning lotion - this was opened and half-used a couple of years ago so I was a bit wary of finishing it off (fear of orange leg attack!). It was moisturising but it smelt horrible, and I can't honesty say it did anything for me on the tanning front (but I had a little colour built up already anyway .... from tanning booths ..... shush yes I know!) Got some other gradual tanning lotions to finish off, and some new ones to try, so if they do work, I will stay out of the tanning booths I promise. But wouldn't buy the Nivea one again.

Spends so far this month - toothpaste and mouthwash (both on BOGOF), and a deodorant, totalling about £6.50, so still within my limit of £10 for the month.

Got a shampoo, conditioner, day cream and make-up base all on their last legs at the moment, so hopefully will have some more use-ups to report before too long. Keep going everybody - we will win this battle!

    Bye for now
    Love from Candice x

Simple is good for my skin too (not sure whats going on atm though, maybe stress lol) I don't use the light but it's something I might try. I use the Simple Rich moistoriser which is good under makeup. Cheap too :T

Have bought myself a foundation brush so far but it was with b'day money and a Boots voucher. I've finished a bubble bath and a shampoo :j
