Hello, have been awol all weekend, turned out busier than expected and Saturday was a bit of a disaster as far as NSDs are concerned, completely self-inflicted, spontaneous and naughty (spotty slippers, not just any lingerie, M&S lingerie, raincoat, make-up
). Though I did terrify myself into being goodtoday. NSD number 7 and a beautifully clean house (though a completely bunged up sneezing Niccatw as a result
).
Will catch up on every-one when it is a more sensible hour! Night all.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

not just any lingerie, M&S lingerie
(Yes, I succumbed to the temptation back in March... part of the 'new me', along with colour in my hair and a new OHNow I'm spending on things to try and strengthen my nails/sort out my cuticles after 40+ years of nail biting came to an unexpected end 13 months ago!!!)

Yep - just like that. Suddenly realised I hadn't bitten them for 3 or 4 days, and that white bits were starting to appear at the tops of them
But 13 months on they're still splitting badly - which I'm guessing is partly because of the constant hand washing and cleaning at work (supermarket bakery), but also not helped by low calcium intake in my diet. I'm going to see about getting some calcium supplements, but will probably have to take iron supplements alongside them as I believe this helps the body absorb the calcium (and I also have a history of mild anaemia, which became worse during pregnancies and each pregnancy was worse than the previous).
In the meantime I've invested in some 'not cheap' nail strengthener that comes recommended by friends, along with a good quality polish remover (as it has to be taken off and restarted on a weekly basis) and expensive cuticle treatment. Been told any treatment has to be given at least 3 months to show an improvement, and only started this last week so a while to go before I know if it was worth bothering with !!!!Cheryl0 -
Morning all
Reporting in with NSD 4 and 5 :T Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere with this challenge. I'm very stressed with work at the moment as we're on a really tight deadline so there's been no chance to go out anywhere at all.
Fingers crossed for NSD 6 today.CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

Morning everyone.
Whoa Spoon, I think you get the shampoo award there!:rotfl:
'I'm sorry, I can't come out tonight I'm washing my hair, and for every night for the next three years'
I'd like to register myself for NSD 8 today please. Have some ebay parcels to send but I'm not counting this as a spend as my buyers have paid the postage and I'll get that in a couple of days. Think I'll hit my target, as I haven't got a bean until payday in one week, so I couldn't spend if I tried.
Hope everyone had a good weekend, and have a great monday-Yay mondays (not)

Still coughing for Scotland but have to go to work as have stuff that can't wait. Jelly cubes ladies, seem to remember from my youth that jelly cubes haves lots of stuff that helps nails, got to be the MSE option, on the other hand as I am getting a bit doolally as I get older, I may just have made that up!!! No there is a memory, worth a try???
Won't be a NSD for me to-day as have bis and bobs to pick up that didn't get in the shop cos MrT was either extortinately expensive or just didn't have. Going away on business later in the week and will be on the company CC so expect to score 3 in a row! Does that mean I have to run around with my jumper on the top of my head????More than Two Years in

Good morning everyone.
Am now up to NSD 12.
The sun newspaper caravan deal was brill. Lovely caravan looking over the beach and for only a few pennies. Obviously ate way too many lovely things, so had very good intentions last Monday to start eating heathily & exercising (Even got the stepper machine out !!). By wednesday i'd got that lurgy thingy that's going round so been laid up all weekend as i've got MS so even little minor infections knock me about. So much for trying to get fitter & healthier:rotfl: (couldn't be bothered to work out how many WW points are in a lemsip)
Hope anyone else who's got the lurgy is feeling better soon (red noses only look good in the circus)
Off to have a nice hot shower with plenty of steam , but will have to get the PJ's surgically removed first.
Have a fab Monday everyone"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." Franklin Jones0 -
