    Debt-free and Proud!
    :wave:Morning everyone

Did an audit of my toiletries yesterday, and it seems that I'm sorted for a very long time.

    Showergel-will last until March 2013

3 1/2 bottles of Marc Jacobs Blush (picked these up last summer for £1 each. Bargain!), will last until march 2011-super concentrated, so you don't have to use much

3 bottles Annick Goutal-last till march 2012 (£3 each in sale, also a bargain)

1 bottle Molton Brown Coco De Mer (free with magazine subscription, and cancelled subscription getting 11 months money back, this also came with a full size body lotion, so I have some of that too!)-last till march 2013

Ooops! But they were a bargain. Can't believe I don't have to buy showergel until 2013. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Cleanser I have enough for the rest of the year. Same with face cream, lady items (down to 68p, plus that free Jemma Kidd lipgloss, so I have enough lady items until January 2011, and enough free lipgloss for the next 2 years). Conditioner and shampoo for the rest of the year.

Makeup, I have enough for the next year or two. I know you should use things up in 6 months, but I don't go in for all that. If there's some left, it's not getting thrown out.

I have all the clothes I need, so apart from food and OU courses, nothing to spend for the rest of the year (that's a weird thought). Ooh, unchartered territory for me.

    M&S £2878.22/ Natwest £3526/ Loan £405/ [STRIKE]Sofa £0[/STRIKE]/ [STRIKE]Ring £0[/STRIKE]/
    Savings £12.04
    NSD 3/10
    Total £6915.88

cw18: hope the shopping trip went well today - you are so organised, it really puts me to shame.;)
:rotfl: "Organised" isn't a word many people would associate with me. "Scatter-brained" is a more apt description :rotfl:

Shopping trip go well? Hmmmm...... well that depends on how you look at it I suppose. And I haven't yet dared total up my spends.

Got all but 2 things on my list - one (Yeast Extract spread) I decided I could wait for, and the other (pizza) didn't have a long enough date on it (meaning I'll have to pick one up later in the week, and just hope our smaller Mr T has some left in an evening as I've got extra morning shifts at work this week). Glad I took a list with me though (not something I normally do), as I'd have forgotten several items if I hadn't based on the darting back to aisles I'd passed when I referred to said list

But I spotted some bedding I really liked, and most of mine is now past it's "best before" date so it's something I've been checking out every now and then - so that was rather a large extra spend.

I was then kicking myself as I came out of Mr T, as the bedding had pushed me well over the £50 spend for the 5p/litre off petrol but I filled the car fuel tank on Friday morning!!! However, it then dawned on me that the voucher is valid until 29th, and I'm going to empty the tank again next weekend with being away - just need to remember to put in minimal amounts if I need more in the meantime, as I have to get most of the way home before I'm within reach of a Mr T filling station ;)

And then I decided I needed to sort out the playing of personal music in the car (won't be getting much reception on the radio while in the Lakes next weekend), so also ended up coming home with an iPod, a clock/radio docking system (managed to get a cheap one that works just fine, and is small/light enough to take away) and a 'transmitter' to allow the playing of it through my car stereo. Unfortunately the cheap transmitter I got is next to useless, as I'm getting loads of static hiss over the music - and the volume is that low I won't hear it over the engine on m/ways :o So I'm going to have to take that back to Mr A and fight for a refund on the 'not fit for purpose' basis and get a dearer one instead.

Hoping to switch it over today, but not going to count today as a spend day if that's the only thing I get - partly as I would have bought the dearer one yesterday had I known how bad the cheaper one was, but also as the iPod and related items are coming out of my "Social Life" kitty (which is funded by extra hours I do at work) rather than my "Living On" one and I use spends from the latter for the NSD challenge.

Quite a low spend day yesterday, needed a new dress for hols but managed to get it for £6 & used the last of a voucher that has been hanging about in my purse, so cost nothing really :j
Fruit & veg was £3 off the market, & only £2 for a couple of bits from MrT.
Then i met my friend for a coffee (yeah i know not green or raw!!) & he bought me lovely cardi that i've had my eye on for ages as a late birthday pressie!!!! :j

Got to go out today as i forgot the birthday cards for this months work birthdays, but if i manage not to buy anything else this will count as a NSD, as i have the money for these out of what was collected in the office. I WILL stay out of the supermarket!!!!

Looks like washing line weather so off to hang it out now....

Pottering and pootling day today - dh out all day so going to church, then a bit of house work/schoolwork/playing in the garden is in order.

Have really tried to cut down on spending and need to check out all the food we have in and plan a menu. Have also been inspired by thread to check out the toiletries - have a few gift sets lurking from Christmas so going to get them out and sort them. Am going to stock up on a few essentials as well on 3 for 2's using boots card but only where it makes it cheaper iyswim.

    Have a happy Sunday
