Thank you both! I recon it must have been your finger crossing :)

Now just dealing with moving dates, and all of the pain that comes with moving generally. Im glad at least I have something to look forward to now, rather than just another soulless cramped flat!

Am back from the shops & i bought.... nothing but the 2 birthday cards :j
Really really wanted to buy a ready roast chicken, but apart from the fact it would have ruined my NSD it also isn't green or raw!!!

Am going to have (yet another) apple then get stuck into some cleaning. so declaring NSD 8 now for today :j

All these new homes; we'll have to sort out a timetable for all the house-warming parties! There's Urg's nuptials & Skaps' promotion too don't forget so a full social calender ahead :j
We like Ace of Cakes Karen--amazing what those very talented folk can do with a bit of sponge & a piping bag!--& feared the new Cake Boss series would be a mere imitation but is looking to be almost as good. For those who have not seen them, these are two programmes that concentrate on different bakeries who make incredibly specialised celebration cakes.

I finally succumbed to the lure of the now nationally recognised AppF00d--as seen on tv just in the week--so my nsd total remains on 10.

Declaring today as NSD #11 - so target hit already :T :T :T

Will try to cram in as many more as I can before month end, but not going to increase my target.

Managed to get my cheapo 'in car transmitter' working with my iP0d this morning, so didn't need to detour to Mr A for a refund (nor fork out an extra £40 for an 'official' one). Have bought an overnight bag and boot tidy/cool bag from A!di this afternoon, but these are also from my 'social life' fund so don't count as a spend for the challenges.

Even swung by work on the way back (to check if I was OK to start an hour early tomorrow, hence covering the other lady's lunch break and gaining an extra hour of pay - but the hour is also needed to keep my weekly average at 30 for Tax Credits purposes and makes a bigger difference there than with my pay cheque ;) ) and managed to come out of there without spending anything :D

Hoping to keep to NSDs until Thursday, when I'll need milk for DS and will pop out for the pizza he needs for the weekend. Not sure whether to pick up the fresh bits I'll need for the weekend on Thursday or leave that until Friday, but still keeping fingers crossed for another 3 NSDs this week :)
