The Sun's out today! :j But my poor tomato plants which I've grown from seed in the lounge window will only be going outside to harden off if it's really warm becaue they went out earlier in the week and came in looking really sorry for themselves! I too, have emptied a waterbutt so a bit of rain wouldn't go a miss here too!

LadyfromVenice - re the hypnotism - I thought about it for years and only took the plunge when I discovered someone I already knew had gone to college to train and had set up her own business from home. I wouldn't have been comfortable with a man though. I now wish I'd done it years ago.

Back to the grocery challenge - my shopping list is ready and I'm off to the butcher first then MrW to use a £8 off a £40 shop voucher.

    Have a good weekend all.

morning everyone :) I'm having my hair cut today so it won't be a nsd for me. It's quite sad how excited I am :rotfl: my hair is really long - nearly to my bottom! so I'm getting it trimmed and having a side fringe put back in :) I haven't had my hair cut since December so it's my treat! :D

....funny how we keep it all hidden from our nearest and dearest isn't is? I would never have thought she was having problems, but was nice to talk to someone who's going through what i'm going through. That's why I spend so much time on this site & Old Style in particular..

Have been toying with the idea of starting a diary on here to put my random thoughts on, and keep track of my debt free quest - do any of you have a diary, and do you find it helps? I'm so paranoid, I'd be worried that no-one would be interested!! :) xx
I'm [STRIKE]a nosey beggar[/STRIKE]naturally inquisitive & supportive so if you fancy sharing, go ahead. SF has a diary & I'm sure there's room for you too; eat yer heart out Pepys :D
I guess we keep things inside our own thoughts in the belief we are 'protecting' our families :o & I am guilty of doing the same. Then again, I know how I worry when I know there's something bothering my nearest & dearest & they won't share :embarasse..talk about 'don't do as I do, do as I say' :undecided

This won't do! I MUST do something or I shall take root myself! Have a good weekend folks, & I'm pleased to say I've cracked double figures with No 10 yesterday.

Congratulations skaps :T, enjoy your night out! :j
Declaring today as NSD number 9, only 6 more to go :j. Really pleased, just got to curb my spending on the days I do buy things...got the CC bill today...not a pretty sight!! Will look around for another 0% deal later.

Plan on making tomorrow another NSD too. Been busy gardening today, and will get more done tomorrow too hopefully. DH weeded another small raised bed this morning, so I am off now to plant some of the garlic and beetroot I have growing in pots/modules. There's lots more too - carrots, salad crops, broad beans, peas, as well as sprouts, broccoli, kale and chard. I will get more seeds sown too, then need to get some form of protection over everything...we have loads of pidgeons about at the moment :mad:.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Nipping in to report NSD number 9 early as I will definitely not be spending today - tomorrow is a spend day and so is Monday, as always, so I will be back on Tuesday with no 10

I am trying to change Mondays into NSDs - I go to Slimming W*orld and pay my fee weekly but am trying to get the money together to pay up front for 5 weeks and then I get 6th week free - that way I will only be spending 1 in every 6 weeks. As it is, with spending anyway on a Monday, we call into the shops as well and spend more there :(
