It's not a nsd for me. looking a bit dubious this month to be honest. feeling down as well today - I've had a moan in my diary if anyone would take a look and offer some support...Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Managed NSD 8 today, out of my potential 10 NSD's. Well pleased!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
NSD Challenge: October 0/140 -
:T:T Would love to try but I suffer from motion sickness when I go round and round (funny, doesn't happen when I go forwards!) I'm sure there's a proper word for that. Not sure about the sewers though :eek:And Spoon - you've suddenly crept up to 13 - that is very impressive! Well done! You spend so much time encouraging the rest of us, and you're doing really well:):)
Well said :T:T
No NSD today. Had to send some docs off to passport office which I'd forgotten about and bought a new venetia(n) blind (ladyfromvenice!!!!!!;) get it?) for my kitchen as I keep getting blinded by the sun when I eat my dinner!Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Let me know how it goes! My nails are longer thanthey usually are, but generally what happens is that one day I look down at them and they are gone without me even knowing I've bitten them!
Hmmmm, I'm guessing the veggie alternative won't do the same.
The Betterware man arrived today and caught me unawares thus ruining my NSD - I knew I should have allocated the money on Saturday! But at least my Bicarb of Soda is safely in a box now rather than in a puny plastic bag sitting in the mop bucket to gather the spills :rotfl:.
Yep, just get that little bit of white showing.........and then they're gone.
Must resist....too tempting to comment on........CW18 - Congratulatons on growing your nails. I don't know if you saw my post last week when I was chatting to LadyfromVenice about nailbiting, but I was hypnotised about 3 months ago and haven't bitten since. It's a fantastic feeling after 41 years to see lovely, elegant nails and to be able to put nice nail polish on them isn't it. For the first few weeks my nails and cuticles were really dry and sore but I kept applying hand cream every hour or so at every opportunity and now they're fine. Apparently evening primrose oil taken daily is good for splitting nails but will take several weeks to take effect. I also work in a supermarket and make sure I wear gloves at all times to protect my hands (and hide the nail polish that we're not supposed to wear!)
Forgot to say, there's a really good hand cream called "Gloves in a Bottle". Useful for people who have to wash their hands a lot.
Anyway back to the challenge.. This was another NSD for me so 10/16 :j
I'm looking forward to eating jelly cubes.....Mmmmmmmm......will check out evening primrose oil..........and 'gloves in a bottle' as I'm constantly washing my hands at the nursery.................there goes another NSDLife is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Whoa Spoon, I think you get the shampoo award there!:rotfl:
'I'm sorry, I can't come out tonight I'm washing my hair, and for every night for the next three years'
I think you're right there, thrifty fifty:o:o:o. Felt quite embarrassed admitting it, but at least it shows you're not alone...The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I know I tend to stock up on things that are on offer, reasoning that it will hopefully last until that item comes back on offer again & save me a bit of cash in the mean time. I did that with tinned sardines last month; the shelf edge ticket said the offer was ending on X April so I bought 12 tins & saved around 60p..went in the store last week & they're back on offer again so you just can't win  The one saving grace is we use a lot of them so I'll be able to get a few more in but naughty practise all the same.
Who said they wanted to try zorbing? We can go while in Brighton, & we can take the trolls here which works out rather well[May I suggest those who are already feeling a tad
would prefer to skip these activities!]
Same here, BigMumma, can't resist a bargain. I'm trying to train myself out of buying multiple offers on things I just know I won't use but it's a long process.....
Oooh, zorbing... that will be good in our Star Wars costumes... sounds fun. I'll try hard not to throw up over anyone, honest:D:D
Like the idea of the tour for the trolls, they'll feel right at home there:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Awww thanks, you lovely people, much appreciated :T:T:T
And BDINI - with the progress you've made in the last month, there is no reason why you can't get to 13 either - think positive:)

You are doing really well at sticking to your budget and hopefully starting to pay off your overdraft, that’s a real achievement.:T This really isn’t a competition, if you dont get many NSDs in one month but still manage to make some headway with your debt, that’s great!

pure dead dopey: I remember jelly cubes as being good for strengthening nails, so you’re not imagining it, not sure whether it worked or not, mind you.
Hope the shopping today wasn’t too expensive - are you taking the aliens with you to keep you safe?
Like the company spends later in the week, just curious as to why you’ll be running around with your jumper on the top of your head?

Fingers crossed for Wednesday:)
katenut: if you enjoyed the lovely cold cider after that ride, then it was worth it - we all need a treat occasionally!
Hope the shopping wasn’t too painful today, keeping my fingers crossed for some more NSDs for you this week
Dorastar: :(oh dear, hope you’ve regained the will to live after today and that you got the paperwork sorted out
slowlyfading:oh dear to no NSD today and really sorry you’re feeling down
LadyfromVenice: love the venetian blind - hope you’re pleased with it. Isn’t it strange how we spend so long wishing for the sun to arrive then when it does we put up blinds to block it out:p....
Well I've managed another one today, taking me up to no 14 now :j:j. Got to be something good, the rest of the day has been carp:(
Off to do the update now, so see you all tomorrow.

Morning all! Declaring NSD 6 for yesterday :j I'm on a bit of roll now. There's a bit of food shopping to be done today but that comes out of the main budget so doesn't count for this challenge. I'll just need to keep my eyes firmly on my list and not let them stray towards non-food bits in the supermarket
Must get on - hope everyone has a good day and it's lovely to see all the numbers going upCC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999
NSDs March 1/200 -
Morning all, just checking in to report number 6/10 on Sunday for me
I'm getting the hang of this not spending lark, think I might challenge myself a bit more next month - maybe even (gulp) 15...
