Don't think I'm gonna make my target this month, thinking about it... :o

You've still got time slowlyfading, you are ahead of target so far with 7 out of 11 and you have 20 days left to the remaining 10. :)
Slowlyfading - i echo what Tixy said!!! & i always remind myself that even if i don't make target it's still more NSD's than i would have had before i started thinking about what i was buying & trying not too.... thats gotta be a good thing, right?? :D

Hi slowlyfading - not like you to be like this. You might have lots of things on this month (and you have, I know) but you've still 20 days left in May and look what you did last month.
In any case, even if you don't get the remaining 10, as BDINI says, you will still have got many more NSDs than you would have done otherwise.

    Chin up and keep going

So today is a total disaster.... Full story on diary, but to make a long story short our landlady has changed her mind on our flat and is moving in some relative, so we have to leave in a month or so, just in time for OH's job to end.

This is after telling us we were welcome to stay another year and she was happy to sign a new contract when that came up end June. We'll lose all the time and money we put in to fixing up her garden, which was a tip when we got here as she is very elderly and couldnt keep it up herself. We'll have to move very soon, probubly to a more expensive place as this one was quite innexpensive for the area and we are unlikely to find such a good deal again. And find a deposit etc... ARG!!!

Today was an LSD as had to get some bread and milk after coming back from being away. Very upset by all this, not sure what we're going to do.

I am so sorry to hear this, Nottoobadyet, that's awful and the timing makes it even worse. Will post on your diary, just wanted to say sorry.

Just popping in to delare my NSD number 6 for today (yesterday) (Tuesday) :j

Wednesday & Thursday should be NSD's as well - got several parcels to post, as I did today, but they are eBay items - I do my postage online and this has already been paid for by buyer, so no spend to me. I got some raspberry canes today (hubbie is putting them in tomorrow as a start to our fruit garden) but they did not cost me anything as they came through FreeCycle or Freegle as our's is now called.

    :j :j :j :j :j :j

cw18: lots of bargains on Monday again.:) Did you see on the news that cheese is apparently going to rocket in price due to the wet spring? :(
Thanks for the link to the spreadsheet, will have a look at that (and probably run away in panic:eek:...)
Update: well done for no 7:j - brilliant! And look at you avoiding the whoopsies as well...
Hope the home made pizza turned out well.

Oh no to bad day at work - that’s awful:( - well done to resisting shopping on the way home, that’s the very time I would go and find something to buy..

Good for your for returning the top rather than leaving it unworn - that’s great! :T

    And hello to everyone else:
thrifty fifty: fingers crossed you managed to avoid buying any chocolate on Monday and managed no 6. I’m the same when feeling down or very tired - chocolate is the only thing that will do.;)
Update: FAIL .... oooh you are going to be in so much trouble when BigMumma sees that word!!! You haven’t failed at anything - you’ve got 5 NSDs and are halfway to your target on the 10th May - that’s brilliant!!! (ahh, I see BigMumma spotted the word then....)
Oh dear..... cheesy poofs and granola - sounds like an irresistible combination - how could you not buy them;)...
Mega well done for resisting the shoes though - that would have been one heck of a bargain:T
BDINI: like the sound of the huge box of washing powder - brilliant - and you got some bargains at the same time, so not too bad really. (:eek:to removing a fish head though..)

Not seen anything on the news..... nor anything else on the TV. Other than C5 for 35 mins or so before school (and only twice a week as I only take GDs twice) I've not had my TV turned on in over 3 weeks now !!!
Thanks for the link to the spreadsheet, will have a look at that (and probably run away in panic:eek:...)
No need to panic over it. There's a Q&A thread (also linked to in that post) where I can help people out, and also happy to do so via email. I've had a couple of people manage to make mistakes in it, but they just email it back to me so I can fix and return it :)
Hope the home made pizza turned out well.
Wasn't bad thanks, though I have a feeling I probably put too much tomato puree on it for DS's taste. Got the mix of cheese right though - used a couple of small mozarella balls and about an equal qty of mature cheddar, and it was tasty :)
And I’m feeling much better today, thanks:)
    glad to hear it :)
