Anyway, not too worried it will get violent or anything, being a black belt she knows how to take care of herself!Mentally she doesn't seem to be worried and at least she's talking to me about it, I think that's half the battle. Ironic thing is, it all started because her friends were being bullied and she stuck up for them. Now the bullies are fine with her friends but have turned on DD
.
Wish I'd done some kind of SD class as a kid (not that I've done it as an adult either....) I bet it would have made all the difference to my attitude and demeanour when dealing with bullies. Instead I walked around with a big 'Victim' sign on my head. SD, even if you don't actually need to use it, must surely give you a physical confidence and that is one of the best gifts you can bestow on your child. If I'm every lucky enough at my ripe old age to have children it will be one of the things I encourage them to do. I applaud you LFV and your daughter for standing up to the little ******!!!! :T:T Hope you get the issue sorted.

And hope you're better Spoons.
So I've done a whirlwind catchup, sort of, on the thread and feel much better now. Sorry about the multiple posts. I do know how to multi-reply but I just get my knickers in a twist when I do
An NSD for moi bringing me upto a measly 4. Ah well.
Have a good evening everyone - I wonder if we'll finally have a government by the end of today...........?
PS Keiss - sorry about your friend.0 -
((hugs)) for Spoon. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better today.
I was shattered yesterday, and ended up going to bed at 8pm  Didn't expect to go to sleep until closer to 9pm, but thought the lie down would do me good...... and was out like a light. Barely managed to get up with my alarm at 5:30am either, so just as well I'd gone to bed early
Declaring today as NSD #7.
Managed to get home from work without even glancing at Whoopsies (took a different route out of the store, so I didn't actually pass them) and am determined not, not, NOT to go out for a late night Whoopsie hunt (despite knowing there are a few bits-and-bobs likely to be reduced in the bakery that I love).
Hoping that declaring now will be the final nudge I need to stay home, as otherwise I'll have to come back and reduce my count
Having homemade pizza tonight for only the second time ever - so off to see if my dough's ready for rolling out nowCheryl0 -

Dear Solvent,
Please forgive me for I have worshipped at the alter of cheesy poofs and granola square today. I spent £1.58
But I also overcame my biggest challenge yet and put back on the shelf (after joining the queue), a pair of £225 shoes that were reduced to £15. You don't know how hard that was for me 1. It's shoes 2. It's reduced shoes.
I Just couldn't do it
