So today is a total disaster.... Full story on diary, but to make a long story short our landlady has changed her mind on our flat and is moving in some relative, so we have to leave in a month or so, just in time for OH's job to end.
This is after telling us we were welcome to stay another year and she was happy to sign a new contract when that came up end June. We'll lose all the time and money we put in to fixing up her garden, which was a tip when we got here as she is very elderly and couldnt keep it up herself. We'll have to move very soon, probubly to a more expensive place as this one was quite innexpensive for the area and we are unlikely to find such a good deal again. And find a deposit etc... ARG!!!
Today was an LSD as had to get some bread and milk after coming back from being away. Very upset by all this, not sure what we're going to do.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Thanks for all your comments about the bullying. Didn't catch bully's Mum today. She works at DS1/2s school. I waited at reception at the end of school to catch her but she had already done a runner . Apparently she's the last one in, first one out each day. Figures. I won't be able to see her till next week now as I'm at work, hopefully everything would have blown over then.
Was a quiet day for DD today as bully and her didn't cross paths today.
We all enjoy our karate, great for exercise and for getting rid of some of that pent up aggression. Got another injury tonight. Forgot to put my shin pads on when sparring, kicked my partner in the elbow and ended up with a swolen ankle. I'm such a lightweight! Especially helpful as tomorrow I'm off on my day trip with my nursery. Lots of walking around . Hope the weather's nice.
Anyway, NSD 9 today :T. Might be a spend day tomorrow, depending on if I succumb to the day out ice-cream.Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Sunday was a nsd in the end, yesterday could've been a negative spend day if I'd managed to find the receipt for the horrendous top I bought for no apparent reason. Instead I returned it for store credit which is better than it just sitting in the wardrobe unworn I suppose! Today and tomorrow had no chance of being nsds as we've got nothing in the house to take to work for lunch and haven't had chance to go shopping yet.0

I take it you live miles from civilisation, pdd, or do you warn your neighbours to go out when cooking this up....The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi everyone
Had quite a boring, depressing weekend trying not to spend money. Went to MrT for a basic food shop but apart from that I avoided all the other shops and spent most of the weekend indoors out of the cold.
Does anyone else feel fed up when they're trying not to spend? The poor weather didn't really help as I couldn't get out in the garden so ended up watching a DVD with DD13 on Sunday afternoon.I find it much easier when I've a run of NSDs 'cos then my competitive side comes out and I like the challenge! But I think we've all been there - it's why I spend a lot of time here reminding myself it's not just me (honest guv, it's not all procrastination)
Hi TheBees
Think we've all been there - Big Mumma has replied to you as well on this I think - so you're very far from alone in feeling like that. Gets to us all occasionally (and more than occasionally for some of us). Nicca's advice is good - I spend time on here as well to remind myself of what I'm trying to achieve and that I'm not the only one doing this.
Hopefully the weather will pick up in the next week or so and you can get out in the garden and fresh air - that will help. It's awful being stuck inside in May, doesn't help either.
Hugs

....) I bet it would have made all the difference to my attitude and demeanour when dealing with bullies. Instead I walked around with a big 'Victim' sign on my head. SD, even if you don't actually need to use it, must surely give you a physical confidence and that is one of the best gifts you can bestow on your child. If I'm every lucky enough at my ripe old age to have children it will be one of the things I encourage them to do. I applaud you LFV and your daughter for standing up to the little ******!!!! :T:T Hope you get the issue sorted.
Hear, hear, curlygirl... you and me both....
And well done LfV - your daughter sounds brilliant (and so do you, of course!)
