Hi,
Still on 5 for me. Had my overall body assessment at OCC Health today, and my cholesterol is at verging on I need to take note area. As I am on death row food wise, I therefore reacted promptly, by going to the shop and purchasing doritos £1 spent.
Diet starts next week for the rest of my life. I will look like a squirrel eating salad and nuts. No spending, no eating, are there no pleasures left???
So I'm declaring thursday a spendy day, as I will be indulging in my last ever bag of !!!!!! de fromage (the M&S ones, amazing!), and granola bar.
I will be grumpy next week living on rabbit food, however I'll cure two evils-weight and spending, because I'll be giving up my last vice of spending on snacks. I've given up shoes.

Declaring today as NSD #8
The only Whoopsies I saw today that may have tempted me weren't to be...... They weren't on offer when I arrived at work, were when I took my break half-way through my shift (but I'm not allowed to shop then, as it's a paid break), and had all gone by the time my shift ended.
One or two possible bits coming up for reduction tonight that could tempt me if I were to wander back down, but not enough of an urge for them to go back and lose an NSDCheryl0 -
And another NSD, please - it is our 4th one.

Yesterday was my first NSD 1

NSD 7/16 for TheBees :j
Sorry about my miserable message a few days ago. I was a bit tired and fed up of not spending but now, almost half way through the month I'm really pleased with the very low credit card bill so far and healthy looking bank balance compared to normal.
DH is "at risk" of redundancy so we are trying to prove to ourselves that we can survive on one wage. If we can - we will worry a lot less.
Anyway, I did spend today in MRW where I have a 2nd job as there were a few bargains in the staff shopping area including dishwasher tablets for £2 and toothpaste for 30p!
Hopefully Thurs/Fri will be NSD's... Good luck everyone. It's nice to know other people are going through this too.Mortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000

And well done LfV - your daughter sounds brilliant (and so do you, of course!)

LadyfromVenice: well done for nos 8 and 9:j - brilliant!
Oh dear to DD being bullied - that’s not nice even if she can physically take care of herself - but she does sound like a very sensible girl, head screwed on the right way definitely - good for you! Glad she didn’t encounter the bully today, hopefully it will all blow over, fingers crossed
Ouch to the injury - sounds painful - and not good timing for your outing tomorrow:eek:
Thank you very much, your comments are appreciated. DD is a little star but also very stubborn like me so we do tend to clash a lot (she's only 11 so there's plenty more of that to come ) Ankle's not too bad today, even though I was [STRIKE]walking[/STRIKE] being dragged around for 3 hours by my little anklebiter friends.
Spendy day for me.
I spent £2 on lunch, £6 something on toiletries and £2.18 on 2 500ml bottles of diet coke.
The diet coke isn't something I would normally buy (well not at that price!) but might be worth mentioning to others to let you know I got a free nails inc nail polish with the 2 bottles of coke at bo0ts (4colours to choose from).
Good luck to others for NSDs.
Nails inc.:T:T:T.........Wish I could grow me nails. Got one last year for £1 with a Sunday newspaper and it was gorgeous (nail varnish that is). I'm a lifelong nailbiter so don't wear it on my fingers. I like to paint my toenails for summer though. £2.18 for two bottles of coke and a nail varnish normally costing £10.50 is brill:j...........(think, think, when's my next spending day and will I be anywhere near a Bo0ts?)Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Spoon, I must apologise as I was about to do you a disservice (I think that's a word!) I thought today was NSD 9 and you had miscounted but looking back through my posts I'd put NSD 8 twice
.
Anyway, didn't buy an ice-cream today as it was blinkin' freezin'............so NSD 10 today. (sheepishly goes off to update sig with correct NSD figure.....)
