I found them very unhelpful indeed when I wanted to return an item.
Also, I noticed that the returns page on their website says that returns will only be accepted within 7 days.
But legally, everyone now has 14 days to return items under the new distance selling regs.
So they're misleading customers about their legal rights. Is this a breach of trading standards?
Anyway, AVOID AVOID AVOID!0 -
AVOID . Please avoid! I wish I had read the many negative reviews of them before I ordered. The courier they contracted did not deliver and made up a signature of a bogus person and Qs supplies refused to honour their contract to deliver the goods or refund. And their emails in response were anonymous and very rude. Will never order from them again. Please search the internet for many other negative reviews of QS supplies.0

Completely relate to these experiences. Since engaging with QS Supplies 5 weeks ago I have experienced one problem after another, and would advise any potential customer seeking bathroom supplies to use one of the many great alternative suppliers who care about customer service . Initially I did not receive notification of a planned delivery, the email had gone into my spam. Without requiring my acknowledgement or confirmation of the delivery date, it arrived in my absence. I then discovered the initial email and a second email in my spam. The second email again set another delivery date (the next date) which I could not be home for, with no opportunity to reschedule which is the norm with many of the great delivery firms around: UPS, DPD etc. I work full-time but have some flexibility to work from home with a few days notice. I suggested a couple of suitable dates for delivery but was told that if I missed the second delivery date they suggested I would be charged again for delivery (£50pp) . One out of the 3 items then turned up on a day I happened to be home by chance, but unplanned / unscheduled. The delivery driver told me never to do business with QS, that all the customers he has spoken to have had headaches with them. I called QS a few days later and explained this unilateral approach to delivery was unreasonable and untenable for me, and I'd imagine most working customers, and cancelled the remaining order, 2 items. Since then I have emailed QS weekly asking for my refund (around £825). The status they have provided has been vague ("up to 30 days for a refund", "is with our refunds dept") and only this information because I have continually chased them, several times a week. No information on when the refund would be paid, and how much - The QS team when I have called them have promised to call me back and don't. They also sound defensive and give little useful information. Yesterday, 4 weeks after canceling my order I received a refund for £598 - £225 LESS that I paid for the 2 items outstanding. I asked in advance of the refund to confirm amount, but received nothing. I am now chasing the remaining balance. QS do seem to be very good to replying to emails when received, I suspect response time is set as a KPI for support team, but the content of the email response is invariably vague and unhelpful. There is also no clear route to escalate concerns/complaints. Really frustrating - never again!0

My wife just brought this thread to my attention.
QS Supplies have been the worst company I have ever dealt with.
The sink we ordered arrived bent, and one of the accessories was obviously pre used. When I called to arrange a replacement I was told the manufacturer had been contacted, and a replacement would be sent out the following week. I called to check progress the following week and nobody knew anything about it. I then had to send in pictures and several emails, while calling repeatedly to get them to agree to a return. They then didn't collect on the day they said they would, costing me a day off work. I eventually had it collected a week later. I returned all 3 items (sink, tap brace and siphon kit) I received an email telling me I had been refunded. a few days late I checked my account and they had only refunded the sink. I called and complained and they said they had only had the sink back. I pestered, and eventually they checked the warehouse and sent me another email saying I had been refunded. I have just checked my bank again, and they STILL haven't refunded the full amount. They appear to have kept 10% of the original order. I have sent a further email, and will be calling them on Monday.
They are at best completely useless incompetent idiots, or worse willfully obstructive. I genuinely believe they try and be difficult and vague to try and get away with keeping peoples money illegally. If they don't refund the remaining monies I'll be seeking legal advice.

Hey there
Saw your comment about QS Supplies. I think they've sent me a fake bath (or at least one that doesn't match the measurements they advertised on their website). I'm going to demand a refund on the basis of false advertising but realise I could be facing a long battle and waiting months before we actually get our money back. Could you tell me how you got on getting your money back? Thanks ever so, Sian0 -

If you've had problems with QS Supplies, please contact Citizens Advice / Trading Standards. I ordered a bathroom cabinet last week (Nov 7th), and it arrived two days later (Nov 9th). Because it is large and quite heavy, I couldn't get it out of the outer box on my own. A friend came over 5 days later (Nov 14th), and we took it out together, only to see that it was damaged. I tried calling QS within their advertised opening hours, but there was no reply. So, I emailed them. Their email reply was that they wouldn't give me a refund as I hadn't let them know within 3 days. I called Citizens' Advice as I was pretty sure that wasn't right. Under the Consumer Rights Act, you have 30 days to report any damage. I emailed QS back telling them this and again asking for a refund. This time they replied asking why it had taken me 7 days to let them know about the damage. It was actually 5, but either way, that's irrelevant, which I told them in my email reply, where I again asked for a refund. I also mentioned that I had made a complaint to Trading Standards. They replied that they would make an exception this time and replace the cabinet but that if there were problems with it, I should let them know within 48 hours. I've initiated a Chargeback request with RBS and made a complaint to Paypal now. If QS do have any idea of their legal obligations, they aren't interested in meeting them. The feedback on google shows just how many people they have messed around. AVOID!!!0
