Just called Boots stores in Cheltenham and Gloucester and no Xboxes left. Cheltenham did have a few last week but they must have all gone.

Aww Kev, I just bought the last one in Boots Glos 45 minutes ago !!

For a tenner !! Woo Hoo !! Although the sales assistants weren`t having any of it at first and had to call the manager down !

excellent... I'm glad someone has got one :-) I already have one so it was for a family member.

I wonder if it was the one they had that originally refused to scan at nothing less than £140.

I have just located one too! OH is at this moment going to check it out! Told him to have it price checked 1st .... wish us luck! our eldest would LOVE this!:D

Edit: he is now in Boots .... but can't find them .... yet!

Edit: OMG! there was no barcode on the item so they can only chrge what is on the shelf

Edit: To everyone who got the Xbox for £10 ... did your box have a barcode on it? I find what the SA said very strange!

Get them to scan the brown box that the actual ones come in- not the box on display !

ARRRGGHH! Just called headoffice, they were really nice, but nothing they could do! she did say that she had loads of phone calls about locating Xbox's! Anyway, told OH about getting the 'brown box they come in' scanned. He said he will go get one, and if he see's a brown box, ask them to scan that, if it comes up as £10 great! If they still scan it at £75, then he'll just return it.

the lady at head office CS said they can't accept returns without barcodes, not sure how they are able to sell them without barcodes. What you have stated clears it up for me though, there had to be a barcode somewhere for the product, otherwise, how would they ring it through

Edit: will be proper flabbergasted if OH does get it for £10!:D oohhhh, the suspense!!

I just tried at my local boots, they would not honour the £10 price, guy went to check it after scanning in the sales ticket twice with his manager and came back and told me it was a pricing error that has now been corrected
