I was one of the lucky ones, but the way I was treated when I bought it was apalling.

Hi, A massive thank you to Phil who posted the £10 xbox message I managed to get one. I got the console, Simpsons and a sonic game also an extra controller. Staff were a bit surprised when it scanned for £10 but no probs. I did fly out of the shop pretty quick in case I got stopped and told it was a mistake. I was also given a £5 skincare voucher which I have offered to Phil as I go away on hols tomorrow. A fab xmas present to put away for my daughter.

ps Any idea where to get cheap games for it?

I also managed to get one with the 2 games + extra controller (thanks Phil ). Staff refused to let me have it at £10. Got the SA name and branch manager name, reserved the console (as it was the last one they had), called CS head office. CS refused to also sell at that price, so got to go through to CS supervisor, after she initially refused she said she would go away and confirm price. Rang back and confirmed the £10 price and she also phoned the store for me to let them know to sell it to me for £10. When I went to collect it staff were really unhappy at selling it for £10, I had a massive smile

FloFlo: some cheap games at WH Smith, I managed to get Rainbow Six for £1.99. Other games listed here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=246957, may have sold out by now.

I managed to get an XBox Console Deal too for my cousin - but just to let you know got home all excited as it was a surprise and guess what the DVD drive doesnt work - or recognise discs - obviously cant take it back to shop as they dont have anymore! - so have spent 45mins on phone to Xbox to get it repaired - if people are putting them away for Xmas it might be worth trying them working before putting them away as it could turn out to be disappointment on xmas day! if it doesnt work.

Went into my local branch this afternoon and thought my luck was in, box on shelf but was empty. Asked SA if they had any in stock, she went to check but came back and said there were none. I am inclined to believe her as the empty box on the shelf was just a display box (because they would get nicked otherwise) and didn't even have a barcode on!

I can confirm that the Gameboy Micros are now £10 if you manage to find them. I had one transferred to my local store and went to collect it today. Nearly fell over when it scanned for a tenner. SA looked a bit bemused but then again she really didn't know what it was. Needless to say I paid very quickly and left.
