Follow-up on the X-Box (the one that I didn't get, see above).

Just spoke to the manager, the SA has been spoken to . The manager was very apologetic and has been trying to locate an X-Box for me, (so he says) and may have found one. Hmmm, wont hold my breath. Manager has also offered me a £10 voucher for my inconvenience to be picked up from him next time I'm in the store.

I should take them back, get a refund, and re-purchase them at the lower price?

I know nothing-but its a matter of going in and doing as others have done.You will either get it if you stand your ground,or they will refuse(they legally can withdraw it from sale).

hi does anyone know if there are any x box or micros left in either sunderland /newcastle or teamvalley :think: will be going in the morning to try and find something anything :think: fingers crossed

As I mentioned in a previous post ... I was informed that the only place's that had stock (at that specific time) were Cardiff and Glasgow. It has now been mention by 2 othe members that said stock is gone.

If in doubt, call 0845 0708090 and ask them to check.

are these x boxes the old type ? if so they don't play the new games anyway do they so you can only use the old games on them. I can see them being a brilliant buy for youngsters but surely anyone over the age of 10 will want the lastest games to play on them, or is this just me !!

Have just returned from High Wycombe (Octagon) store where they had 4 xbox consoles marked at £74.99. The SA could not have been more helpful - they were more than willing to check the new price - to do this they needed the price label stuck onto the box with a different barcode to that on the box itself (which doesn't work). She and her colleague were amazed at the new price! They checked with the manager who was also surprised but was happy to honour the price showing on the till - all very pleasant and polite. I would imagine that having made this discovery the staff might (understandably) be snapping up this bargain but you never know!

I didn't get a bundle with it but don't really need a Sonic or Simpsons game and was not prepared to push my luck - more than happy with this bargain!

I also asked them to check a lone Intempo digital radio KTS-01 (in blue) and that came up at £10 also! (retails at £60-£85 having done a search on the Internet!)
