This just isn't fair, i want some cheap stuff but its so hard to find, some CS agents asked me to be specific on each items, some of them wanted to help.
My local stores are rather lame, the shopping centre one's had little or nothing, would it be worth checking out the stores in outer london shopping centres, has anyone checked & confirmed no stock in any well known places ??0 -

Well i say, you win some, you lose some, perhaps if i bother CS enough, they'll get something nearer to my location. If all fails....
I still have QUIDCO to keep me going0 -
Hi,
Is it only the bundles that are going cheap, or is the x-box on its own?0 -

Had a friend who went out today & got himself 2 Sony HD5 Mp3 players & 1 Xbox package (central / south london stores), he did do some travelling though & ensured he made the staff have a good little run around looking for stock. It paid off anyway.
His description of the staff member's expression when he saw the price was similar to " Guy Goma's " recent accidental bbc interview. Jaw dropping.
Hmm.. wonder if he'll be another Mr Ebay / A friend who likes to share the joys of £10 items. :rotfl:0 -
I managed to get the last 2 x boxes in Leeds yesterday, one for my son and one for my nephew. The staff laughed at me when I asked them to scan it first to check the price as I had phoned cs and they confirmed the £10 price. Their faces were a picture when it did scan at £10.
Cs told me that Boots have sold their electrical department and all stock needs to be gone by end of September which is why they are now so cheap.
This price only came into effect about 2-3 days ago.
Hope this helps0 -
I was in Boots at Piccadilly Circus last night collecting some photos - anyway behind the Photo desk, which is downstairs, to the right (on a shelf) they had 3 Panasonic DVD Recorders and a couple of Technosonic ones.
Just out of interest I thought I'd ask SA to scan the Panasonic box, I think the model was quite old EWR 55 (couldn't be sure of that). Price wouldn't scan at first but then came up at about £33 - shelf label stated £74 or something.
Im not sure if these are included in the '£10' reductions, but as I didn't want one myself decided not to say anything so as not to alert the SA.
Hope someone finds this useful and manages to grab a bargain. Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0 -

I bought a Speedo Bikini at Boots today, marked price was £27 but it said 1/2 price sale. When I got to the till it was only £6.75 a saving of £20.25 no idea why but well pleased. Also bought a travel hairdryer for £20 and the shop assistant managed to scan my £10 Boots Voucher (free from pigsback) twice so £6.75 for the lot & £181 Boots points tooSave £12k in 25 No 49
