Boots Massive clearance incl gameboys, ps2 etc..... (Merged)

Went to Leeds today, Boots near the station, no consoles but loads of Karaoke machines, gift sets etc. still in hope to find a DS for my son for Xmas.

After viewing this thread for the past 2 weeks and not being able to get to a Boots (on Hols ), Im back now and off to Boots this morning!!

the only thing Barnsley boots had yesterday was a portable DVD player for £59.99. right in the front window on a sale shelf. nothing else in there at all

Been into my local Boots today to buy an x box package and to my and the sales assistant suprise they are now ringing through the till at £10! Yeah, ten pounds!!! Apparently there has been further reductions as aprt of thier sale today. PS2, DVD players, DVD recorders etc have also been reduced to a tenner. Unfortunatley they had already sold their stock of stuff a couple of weeks. Still can't complain, tenner for an xbox ain't a bad days work!

Was told that the further reductions were from today so best be quick!

Can someone tell me whether these are actually marked up at this price or are going through the till at the reduced price? Might have to go up this afternoon and take a peep at the Leamington store

They wasn't marked up at that price, still £74.99 but when it scanned through the till it comes up as £10. The staff were not away of the new sale prices at first so if you get a SA that says they are still £74.99, it's best to get them to check it through the till. HTH, Good luck!
