    Thanks for the replies.

Some interesting reading, some not. As you can see now, the feedback has been left and i think well so deserved. Feedback isnt the end of the world.

Lets hope the next seller i purchase from does not tell me that postage costs are £20, and charge me £10, or i can see another negative being issues.

When i have sold items, i sell them for what they cost, and if ive overcharged a buyer, i return the excess back to themselves.

Maybe we can stop all this overcharging on P&P, and maybe eBay a fairer place.

    Thanks All,

    Mrs Alias

Well, now we have your auction id, we can have a look now and again to make sure you are keeping up the standard. Bit of a silly thing to do really, but judged by your spelling you're not very bright.

    No Mrfly,

You have Mr Alias eBay account id, not mine.

    Guess again,

I assume you didn't read this bit of the description
POSTCODE DELIVERY PRICES AND OPENING TIMES

If you had, maybe you'd have seen it was "too much" and bought from someone else... at a higher total price.

    Great business model.

All of this argument aside, Ebay is about buying and selling. The buyers buy and the sellers sell. One makes a profit the other gets a bargain. At the end of the day, the seller will sell for what he sees is a good price, the buyer will buy for what they see is a bargain. By default, this includes P&P mostly.

I would be happy to buy from or sell to Alias_Omega, aliasomega join date oct 02, 100% FB. I don't think it's too much to expect a reasonable P/P charge. If I'd been overcharged £11 I'd be very unhappy, it doesn't matter what the P/P charge stated in the listing. Proof is in receiving your item.
As a seller I would refund the difference and check my glasses, scales etc and be very apologetic.
I would never buy from adam_computing join date nov 08, 7 neutrals and 2 negs, blatant fee avoidance.
Use the DSR's to make your point.

    This item -

    ebay

Postage as £19.99, was initially happy as i thought it would cost the earth to move. Item arrived this morning, upon checking postage label. Price paid to fastway couriers was £8.95.

The seller is an electrical wholsesaler, so the staff would be around anyway, who would of shipped the items in bulk from the permises. The courier would of collected.

    We calculate overcharge of £11.04.

I will edit this post with a picture of the parcel when they upload.

    Mrs Alias
I would suggest for you to contact the seller and ask for an explanation. If they didn't provide an explanation, you can report them to eBay for excessive shipping rates, as that is against eBay policy.
