Thanks Hun but I get out often.theonlywayisup
You need to get out more.
I like to give a good fair service, sometimes means you stay in to weigh, price correctly and securely package, email buyers, sort out problems etc.
I have bought and sold on Ebay for 10 years, pay promptly as a buyer and send at a fair price as a seller overall DSR's are 5* no easy task as a seller.
When I want to get out more! I have a break from selling.0

You absolute paragon. And of course you wouldn't buy from someone who was avoiding fees, even if the deal was great and no extra cost to you. You would pay more from an honest seller. Course you would. And you are making ten quid a day? Brilliant. Overall 5*? Which means each one is 5? Now that is baloney.0

This "silly seller" has 1700 feedback - 99% positive. bob, you do come across as if you think you are Alan Sugar. And as if you've got shares in ebay. The buyer would have been happy to pay more for the item and less for the postage, same price. Which means she is either thick or needs to get out more - or both.
Armchair warriors really pee me off.
while i don't want this post to been seen as ganging up on anyone i have to agree, bob you say in an earlier post that this guy is "silly" and "obviously doesn't want to make any money" yet he clearly seems to be doing fine and this is in a very similar vain to a comment you made yesterday about how another seller "didn't know what he was doing" and his top rated seller status would suffer when in fact it seemed clear to me that he had actually more than likely achieved his T.R.S status whilst doing what i think you described as "business suicide"
no offence bob, but do you ever stop to think that your opinion might not always be right as you do seem to deliver your opinions as though they were certifiable facts rather than your own personal views......."A wise man once told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who"........0

ebay makes a mint from its fees.

Steal from the erich and give to the ebuyer!!

has anybody thought the cost on the item maynot be the cost he paid,
like any other service it could have cost the seller a fee on top of that to have the item collect and P&P charges can incluse reasonable costs for packaging there is nothing to say that these charges have been taken into account
yes ebay fees are too high but sounds like u got a good deal so quit moaning and dont leave neg
I understand the concepts of cooking and cleaning
........ I Just dont understand how they apply to me!0

She wasn't overcharged by £11... I don't think it's too much to expect a reasonable P/P charge. If I'd been overcharged £11 I'd be very unhappy, it doesn't matter what the P/P charge stated in the listing. Proof is in receiving your item.
The courier charge is only one portion of the costs involved.
There are many other costs involved in running a business. Staff need to be paid to handle the despatches; Electricity, phone and computer costs need to be covered; Despatch facilities need to be paid for; Insurance needs to be paid for; VAT needs to be paid and accounted for; etc.
Judging by the feedback for this seller, the OP appears to be almost alone in being dissatisfied.
She saw the price. She saw the p&p charges. She chose to buy. She got what she wanted at a bargain price yet she rewards an efficient and competitive business with negative feedback.
 What a bloody stupid plonker.0

Yes I would prefer to deal with an honest seller, even if the cost was higher to me.
Not me making £10 a day! Wouldn't dream of overcharging.
Baloney no, I have 5* overall, it can be done macfly, treating people fairly is a good start.0

I disagree Avoriaz, the seller is not selling from their own shop premises, if they were what you say appliesOriginally posted by Avoriaz

 What a bloody stupid plonker.
When selling on Ebay they need to follow Ebay rules, excessive P/P charges aren't allowed. Therefore Alias_Omega has the right to complain and leave F/B or DSR's as they see fit. It doesn't matter if they had a good buy, cheaper than others, that's Ebay's attraction for many.
Have another look at the sellers F/B joined 2008 7 neutrals and 2 negs!!
What a bloody stupid plonker, many can claim this title, not the OP in my opinion!0

7 neutrals and 2 negatives out of 1717 transactions is very good.
And we know that at least one of those 2 negatives is unjustified. :A0
