The seller has emailed me back, i was unhappy with the reply i received from what i could see against the couriers website.

Feedback is an option, and not compulsory. Its a personal thing, i can leave what i like, whenever i like.

    Regards,

    Alias

So why are you on here asking for advice in that case?
(..or have I read this post incorrectly?)
    :smileyhea
  • I think anyone who reads the negative left will do what I do and go in and check the other feedback he leaves for people.

If they do they will probaby roll their eyes anyway.

    Eg:
The tyre was ok, the wheel was not straight. A dispute was filed, no contact

    • Follow-up by aliasomega (08-Apr-09 12:22):

was received after this. Dispute won. Emailed to return wheel. Told to keep it.

He follows up his own feedbacks. Geeez the world could do without pedantics like this. Obviously too much time on his hands.

For the record Fastway charge VAT, then there's the mobile call to their drivers as well as time taken by staff to wrap and label.

No need to worry, i doubt ill buy anything from you, but if you overcharge me by £11.04, ill leave your a negative too.

Can't argue with this immature comment at all o.p, We can all "do what we like when we like" just that some of us have the brains, maturity and grace not to act like petulant school children.

You'd do well to remember that ebay businesses are a source of income for many and some knob head ruining your business for no other reason than because they have the ignorant attitude of "i can do what i like" does not make you anything other than a scum bag in my book.

Remember that all businesses offer at least a 7 day return policy under distance selling regs, so, if your not happy, why haven't you requested a refund and sent the item back?

Because even with the postage it was a bloody good deal is my guess....am i wrong?

so basically you've negged the guy for saving you money, well done einstein.....:wall:

No he was Negged for poor CS and fee aviodance. What a silly seller. Obviously doesn't actually want to make any money

Whether you agree or not sellers selling on ebay need to realise that Postage costs have a huge effect for one they will put you lower in any searches. Ebays policies state that they should be reasonable. Also low DSRs can seriously effect their selling and possible profits

People stating that buyers no the price and are accepting it so shouldn't complain are missing the point. This is ebay the policies are not the same as if you are running your own site

Some sellers are just so shortsighted by overcharging on visible P&P charges the only person they are screwing is themselves.

    This item -

    We calculate overcharge of £11.04.

I will edit this post with a picture of the parcel when they upload.

    Mrs Alias

The time to question that was *before* you bought it, not whine about it after. Be very aware of Karma - do unto other what you wish to receive in return multiplied by a factor of 100 - believe me, let it go and learn to ask first.

Of course he was, i'd hate to be the o.p's local shop keeper, imagine the effort he must have to go to to prove his rent, rates and electricity bill have all been paid in full before the o.p feels morally good enough about buying from him.....it's got nothing to do with fee avoidance and you know it.

cyberbob your not teaching me anything mate, i sell everything free (inclusive) p+p and have done since before ebay started pushing it and it does get you higher up the search standing, there is no doubt about it.

If you want to educate me on something start by explaining how the seller being silly with his postage and getting lower visability negatively impacts the buyer? surely as long as they get good delivery times and an overall good price thats all that matters to them?

This "silly seller" has 1700 feedback - 99% positive. bob, you do come across as if you think you are Alan Sugar. And as if you've got shares in ebay. The buyer would have been happy to pay more for the item and less for the postage, same price. Which means she is either thick or needs to get out more - or both.
