"When my daughter started teaching, her Head said 'I have one piece of advice to give you'. She expected something Wise, but it was 'have you ever wonder why primary school teachers have such dated hair? It's because they use enough hairspray to form a kind of helmet, and avoid nits.'"
This is soooo true my mum is a primary school teacher and swears by hairspray, uses it everyday, never had nits yet. When my brother got nits when we were young mum used vinegar and it worked! Hope this helps!Just trying to be me.....0 -

You think you got it bad???? LOL!!!
I read your title and thought, my god have I got an alter-ego who posts on here without me having any memory of it!!
I am overweight and have several stone to lose, I never have money..............and my case is much worse, as I too have a DD with constant nits, and have spent every day of this holiday trying to get rid (haven't found any since saturday....touching wood) I think thats thanks to another new nit comb, a steel one this time!!
The reason my case is worse, is because I was sat on the sofa last week, itched my head, thought what is that lump.......... grabbed it and pulled it.......a blo*dy nit...............aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhh.......the air was blue for about 2 hours, my OH checked my hair found a few eggs which he popped, and I was hoping that was the end of it, he checked again a couple days later.........lo and behold.....empty bloomin eggs.........I have threatened to either shave my DD hair, or make her wear a swimming cap constantly!!
Saturday I de-nitted myself with loads of conditioner with tea-tree oil in (£3.99 from the health food shop.....grrr!!) and found about 25-30 baby nits...........GROSS!!!!!!!!!! I checked again last night, lots of tea-tree, piles of conditioner, and touch wood there was nothing, will check every 2 days for the next couple of weeks, for both me and DD.
I bloomin hate nits!!!!

My DD has had nits this holiday too, she said she knew her friend had it, but still played with her and didn't tell me until a week later!!!
I've had loads of terrible days this holiday, I'll save the details for another day as I'ts too painful to talk about right now. Suffice to say, we've all got different problems which we can try and support each other with. <<hugs>>A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

I know people knock it but it has really helped me. I would never seem to have enough time in the day, house was such a mess that unexpected visitors were kept on the doorstep as i was to embarrassed to invite them in. My finances were in a mess because i never got around to paying bills on time so kept getting late payment charges. And my weight was going up and up because i dealt with the stress by stuffing my face.
Give it ago for at least a month, its works believe me.£2 coin savers club = £2880 -
Shave her head and go jogging!
Sometimes things get on top of us and we cannot see the bigger picture. I hope you are feeling better and more positive now.
Losing weight can be expensive. I lost a load of weight, (didn't try to, had food poisoning and a long spell in hospital) used to be up to a size 18 sometimes when ex oh was about, now I'm a size 8 to 10. None of my old clothes were any use. Must have cost a fortune! Good job I didn't keep a tally of it, I would be too horrified.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

HI there, this thread has made me laugh....
You should def get your SOA on here asap as the advice I got from posting mine saved me loads. Also dont forget to sign up to quidco, its fab you can make money for switching to cheaper providers.
Also I know now is probably not the time for you to look into this as well as sorting out your SOA and other stuff but.............. Dont forget you can reclaim back all your bank charges from the last six years......
It would take less than ten minutes of your time today to get the ball rolling as if you dont keep all your statements you need to send a letter to them asking for the last six years worth of charges. The banks and credit card companies have 40 days to provide this info so by then you will have everything else under control!!!!
Check out the thread on here for more advice or also https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk
Keep smiling (and posting)
