You cant say that, you dont know the details of the dissolution notice. It could be that the directors have an order against them now, prohibiting them from being directors again. We just dont know.0 -

To be frank, orders banning people from being directors are pretty rare. They could, in any event, continue as a partnership or as a sole trader.
I think the point being made is that the people and the company are separate entities. The company is, effectively, dead.0 -
if you dot want to give com.name and is ..co.uk domain name
try ...http://www.nominet.org.uk/ for domain details or any other domain try 'who is'

If your claim is against the now dissolved Ltd company, you've had it. The company is deceased, it is no more. it is a dead parrot.
You can't sue the company as it no longer exists. And debthater, i'd love to know the name of your software! It sounds almost magical...0 -

You will be able to contact Companies House to find out why its been dissolved.
The dissolution can be challenged by way of court order, but this will cost you a fortune. You will need legal advice on that too. Really not worth it unless they owe you mega money.0 -
hiya,
Ok thanks all.I think that earlier some people were curious as to why I wasn't keen on posting the url sooner. The reason was I didn't want the company to know that I was planning action...Anyway, thanks everyone, for the advice.

www.creditfocus.co.uk
I got it as part of a Barclays Business bank account for free, I never pay a penny for it. However, if you subscribe direct I understand they are quite pricey.
Its fantastic software. It checks status on companies and if anyone owes you money, CreditFocus will send out a Letter Before Action to prompt the debtor to make a payment to you - all included in the price of the subscription.0
