Cannons (Covent Garden) didn't charge me for my induction (which consists of 4 sessions - 2 in the first week, 1 at 4-6 weeks and another sometime beyond). They don't charge for towels either.

I am considering this offer as I am training for a marathon for the next 6 months and this will keep me warm in the winter months. :snow_laug
I have Private health insurance for free already with work so can I be "double insured"?

I have a quote at £24.17 per month plus 29 joining fee and 25 per month for the london club I work by. That's after the 6 months and I only need the membership till June.

Regular membership is 70 squid a month so 25% saving. I can join for the 7 months then can the membership. Sounds good...

Update: Just applied and should get the stuff in the Post this week. I appears the offer expires on the 31st but the gym membership offer (i.e the joining bit) goes on till the 31st Dec. So you don't have to join the gym before the 31st Oct just fill in the online app for the health insurance so apply away there's enough time!

Hi guys,
No need to panic and sign up before 31-10-06. I have called Pru up and they said the gym offer is extended to the end of November. So you can start the insurance policy next month!

Holmes Place offered me a free induction. I would have thought for health and safety reasons they coudn't not give one.

I have both a Holmes Place and a Cannons near my location (moving to Reading in two weeks).

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of either of these 2 gyms? and any recommendations over the other?
