1. You can apply through quidco, although the gym offer doesn't show up anymore you can change the web address to gym at the end, it will take you to the correct page but there is no guarantee it will be tracked by quidco.
2. You can apply through quidco and take the bike offer, then ring up Prudential and ask to change to the gym offer, there is no guarantee that they will do this either but it is more likely and it should definately be tracked in quidco.
I'm debating which one would be best, can any members off any advice or experince on either of these routes?
Many thanks. The very helpful custumer service lady said she'd put a query on the system that I wanted the gym offer, but it wasn't guaranteed I'd be eligible. I said I'd cancel the policy if I couldn't get the membership. They rang back this evening to tell me they had changed it to the gym offer :j Just hope this doesn't mess up the quidco tracking though

I went for option 2 as above.
Welcome pack turned up yesterday so rang them and said "my pack doesn't mention the gym offer"
Was told to go into the gym that I wanted to join with my pru health card, sign up to their T&C's with them and then get then ring Pru Health for the activation number or something like that....
Never mentioned that I had actually signed up for the mountain bike offer which is strange, but anyway....

My pack mentioned the gym offer and nothing about the mountain bike, yet when I rang them they said I'd been assigned the bike offer0 -

Got the pack through today. Not quite sure whether to go straight away. Although my membership is active I'd presume that you need an induction first. However, it mentions in the letter that "one of our service team will contact you shortly to arrange an induction". Can I phone up my local Holmes Place and arrange it myself to speed things up a bit?0 -

Do you have a copy of the T&C's just in case they do!??!
When did you apply?

The t&C's are on this page here
I phoned up today and said I wanted to activate my gym membership and they never mentioned any bikes. They said they would register me with Holmes Place and confirm my membership number in a few days0 -
wow, what an awesome deal. Having just moved down to London to study, myself and my girlfriend (both 20 years old) were looking for a decent gym for a decent price. And wow! our policies (both being quite healthy non-smokers) came out as £14 odd with £1000 excess and non-london hospitals (like I care - I'll use NHS).
What a great bargain considering that not only can we use the brand spanking new Bank centre when it opens in November, but we can do it for a fraction of the price, and even cheaper than the Local Authority's gyms!
brilliant, just brilliant. Now I know why my nanna would trust nobody but the pru*.
*well, and co-op.Monthly Food Budget: out of the window0 -
I think Bank is excluded0

Clubs excluded are Cannons City Club and Holmes Place Kensington, Mayfair, Broadgate and Canary Riverside clubs.
nope!
although bank opens sometime in november so, just to get the most use out of my membership, i'll go to another instead.Monthly Food Budget: out of the window0 -
Someone else mentioned that although Bank is not in the exclusion list, it is in fact excluded! I think the website needs an update. Call Pru and Holmes to confirm this.0

My quidco account is showing this:
Date Merchant Amount (£) Earnings (£) Status Payment Date 23 Oct 2006 Prudential Health 18.87 115.00 tracked* ~ Nov 2006
Does this look familiar? Does this mean I'm only going to get £18.87 back? or £18.87 every month? Or what?
Thanks for any ideas.0
