you can find the link to retrieve the existing quote in the left hand side of the pruhealth home page.0 -
Fingers crossed, done a quote via Matin's link and then retrieved it via Quidco, hopefully it will be tracked and should all go according to plan!2p off is still 2p off!0

I activated my gym membership today by calling Holmes Place HO and obtaining a membership number which I then gave to Pru.0

Hey all,
Don't post alot on the forums but took advantage of the PruHealth offer so thought I should pass on my comments.
Went to quidco and then PruHealth website and then closed browser and went through Martins link and signed up.
Got all my membership details through the post and it tracked on Quidco. Gave Pru a call and they advised me to go up to Cannons and sign up to get a membership number. Cannons knew about the offer and added me to their system in the normal way but without any bank details. I was given a membership number and went home and called Pru to activate it. Few days later and it was done.
Went to Cannons today and I must say, its amazing. I had a Local Council Student Gym Membership costing £17pm and now have a luxuary health club membership costing £14.50 a month (19yo, n/smoker, highest excess etc). I actually feel i'll stay with them afterwards.
A friend of mine went to Cannons to sign up but only wanted a 8 month membership and they advised him of PruHealth, so it is definately for people who want to be able to cancel at anytime.
First DD goes out tomorrow so will soon see if I get cashback - will be a bonus if I do as I feel i'm already moneysaving :money:0 -

Well according to the Pru Health sign up page, the first DD comes out within 7 days of the policy starting to pay until the actual payment date which the person can choose, so by that, they should have taken money out already, even though the payment date is 26th!!
Netwalk, can you double check that they haven't taken any cash out, because as I said above, regardless of the payment date that you choose on applcation, they say the first payment is taken within 7 days to pay up until the date you choose.... sorry, hope that makes sense!0 -
Thanks netwalk,
As soon as the policy documents arrive I will ring up and play dumb asking why it didn't mention the gym offer?!?!

Hi all
To help with the confusion, I applied at the end of Sept for a friend, my partner and I. All tracked successfully through quidco, and now Quidco says "Received" and I should be paid at the end of Oct for all 3! I use IE with lots of security restrictions, yet it still tracked quidco and worked, so seems little effort there.
Regarding someone's query as to whether to have more than 1 person on an application - No, Don't! The offer is only given once per application, so apply for each person individually.
At the time of my application it was a Boots offer that kept coming up, but still got gym offer by clicking on known gym offer URL subsequent to clicking on quidco link. Now in Oct another friend has applied, also tracked through my quidco link, and he also got the gym by getting that page to load, even though quidco clicked through to the bike offer.
So the whole system seems to track quite easily, I am being paid a month later for 3 apps (yet our subs haven't even come out yet :rotfl: - applied with 1 month delayed start!), and did get gym as requested for all concerned.
Note johndhuk's method posted above (not goign to repeat it), and it all should be fine.
Now having been paid already yet not paid my subs, wondering if I should cancel my app and start again! Of course I don't want to lose the payments made (if you can, don't know), or the offer cos if I reapply I am possibly no longer a brand new customer, hence possibly don't get offer for "new customer's only". Guess not really worth the risk, but would be nice to be paid through quidco twice for my partner and I - that would be 6 times in total!!!
Ciao
Arch
PS: Oh yeah, red folders did take at least a week if not longer to arrive, so a bit slow, but do come. Perhaps cos I applied on last day of offer in Sept so they got really busy.
PPS: None of us have got any gym documentation - just went along to the gym with Pruhealth membership card and got them to call and sign up.0 -
Does anyone know if you have to pay for your induction? I gather you need to phone the gym directly but don't know if they charge?0
