  • I'm actually already a member of cannons, and the nearest one to me is the city one - its extortinately priced, as they assume (wrongly!) that anyone who works in the city is overpaid.
the 6 month free membership is no good for me as cannons city gym is excluded - i've still taken up the offer though - as i can pay £50 (+£21.50 for health insurance) to use all the cannons gyms in the country, and I still save £12 a month (I told you it was extortinate, didn't i??)

Unlike everyone else on the site, i actually want the bike offer, as I was looking for a bike to get for my boyfriend for christmas.. not gonna own up to where I got it from though!

the quidco cashback (which tracked for me) makes it even more of a saving.
  • Applied 2 days back through quidco... received the pack today in the morning... quidco is tracking the transaction... happy...

did you go for the mountain bike or the gym offer?

If the gym offer, how did you work it to get the offer??

I didn't click any of the offer link... went straight in to the quote page through quidco and received quote. The confirmation email from pruhealth didn't have anything mentioned about the 6months gym mebership. That's good in a way. I did try getting few quotes clicking the bike offer and the confirmation email did mention about the bike offer.

Right, so you don't know if you are going to get the bike or the gym? So how are you going to sort it to make sure you get whichever one you want?

  • I did the same as dealkinguk, went straight to the quote page through quidco not clicking any offer. However, I called PruHealth and gave them a quote ref number I'd been assigned and it was the bike offer that came up. They said if the bike offer was visible on the site then that is the offer that would be associated with your application and they didn't say they could or would change it.

I want the gym so may have to gvie up on quidco, the only other thing I'd try to do is go via quidco, click on the bike offer but replace the URL 'bike' characters with 'gym' and see by called PruHealth again, if the gym membership was associated correctly and then see if quidco track it.

I'll let you know how I get on...

It should be credited to your Quidco account in November

Right people, end of October and end of this offer is rapidly approaching, so I need to take the plunge and risk this. Anyone got an opinion on my best option, either:

    1. Click through Quidco onto the bike offer and then change bike to gym and hope it still tracks

    or

    2. Click through Quidco and complete the signup with the bike offer then ring up and tell them I want the gym and hope this doesn't affect Quidco?!?!

Finally, does it make a difference using FF or IE for going through Quidco?!?!

A few weeks back I clicked through Quidco to PruHealth a few times using FF and they all tracked, when I did the same with the GF's account through IE, it didn't track, although I didn't get quotes through IE so maybe thats why.

    All advice appreciated...

  • It's having the quote that tracks in Quidco, I did quotes with a whole range of different options and ended up with it tracking about nine times in Quidco

The quote button doesn't seem to work in the gym page, so I ended up pressing another button which took me back to the main page, so whether I will receive the gym subscription I don't know at this stage

Not to worry, I'll ring them up after the first direct debit has gone out ;)
Thanks to all who post constructively.
