How do they know if you are going to your gym workouts? Are classes counted as a workout as far as earning points goes?
I went to a class at Cannons yesterday but have no idea if my card was scanned or what, don't want to lose out on points. I have registered for the Vitality thing but am not sure how they add up points for the gym. On the pdf listing all the things you can do to earn points, it says "added automatically or you may have to fax results" - am I supposed to fax them every time I go or what?!0 -
Thanks, Meinnit.
I cynically assumed you would have to be training like an olympic athlete to get the discounts. On a quick look, I'm pretty sure I could get to Gold level just doing what I already do (plus reading a few articles).
I guess the catch is that you get no discount if you make just one claim.koru0 -
Anyone else having an issue with this. Tried to sign up today via quidco using firefox, and it wont let me enter my address details.
Its not some sort of intentional block so that people cant does this via quidco is it? I really wanna make sure I get me cashback!

cchilds wrote:I'm having the same problem. It might be a problem with their website, I tried last night and this morning. I'm worried that because Ive got to that stage, and the application didnt go through, when I retry, will I have any issues with getting the 115.00 from quidco? as I have had more than 1 quote reference number.
I sent an email to them querying the problem, but nothing back yet. Hopefully we should be able to just raise another quote, once they fix the site, I suspect nothing happens until you get to the purchase stage anyway0 -
Just got a reply. Seems theres a problem with the address fields when using Mozilla Firefox, so they recommend IE. Ill give that a try0

Offer is still running. I dont think it matters if you cant see the banner? I'm not sure how the Boots voucher offer works0 -
To activate my holmes place membership, I phoned holmes place head office, who after taking details - including the club I wanted to join - issued a membership number. Another call to Pruhealth to activate, and I should be able to go on Thursday or Friday (takes a couple of working days to activate).0

Hi,
Firstly, thanks to everyone for a great money saving tip, however there's a small problem
The nearest gym (near work) is the Holmes Place in Broadgate, but it's one of the few excluded from the offer. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get around this annoying quirk? I'm guessing it's not financially sensible for Pru to subsidise a club with a £116pm fee, but it would be nice for me if they would!
Would phoning them and asking to meet in the middle, i.e. I pay £25pm from day 1, be sensible? Or does anyone have experience of joining a gym included in the offer and then transferring membership to one of the excluded gyms?
I'd appreciate any thoughts you guys & girls have on this, it's time to save some money and shed some pounds
Cheers0
