So not only do you get the health club deal you also get over £57 to spend on a new pair of trainers!!!
Registering at greasy palm is easy and well worth the cash back...
Edit: Perhaps Sticky Palms would be a better name!koru0 -
Does it matter if I already have private healthcover? It's through work and I won't be cancelling it but I don't want to invalidate it by buying pruhealth as well0

for all those worrying about quidco tracking 00.00, it starts showing up as £115
when your policy starts. I just received my papers today (I applied on 31st August) and voila' quidco is showing my cashback for the 1st time!
So my advice: be patient.0 -

Hi
Just signedup to Pru Health via quidco... I am a newbie to all of this so just letting you know what i did:
1.signed up to Quidco
2. clicked on the quidco pruhealth link when logged into quidco
3. got the cheapest quote from pruhealth 22 quid ( i am 31, 1000 excess, 3 hours and more exercise per week and hospitals in london and national)
4. took out the pru health insurance by going through the 4 step process which asked me for my diret debit details.
5. end
Observations:
During the quote and pruhealth insurance signup, nothing was mentioned regarding the gym membership. Also, I assume that the quidco tracking will happen automatically cos I clicked into the PruHealth site via quidco.
Questions:
1. what date should I cancel the pru health insurance? signup date+5 months ?
2. when should I contact Holmes place? ( by the way , i shall be attending the Cricklewood branch)
3. anything else I need to do?
Fingers Crossed... :T :T

I've often wondered what happens when there are two policies, both of which have this exclusion. Potentially, both could refuse to pay out. In practice, I assume this doesn't happen, but I doubt they both pay out the full loss.koru0 -
Hi everyone,
Am a complete newbie, and was just about to sign up (yes, full priced!) to Holmes Place when I thought I'd see if there was anything on MSE about getting the most out of Gym memberships when I luckily stumbled across all this! :j
However -
I am a bit nervous about making sure it all goes through ok...
I did everything like this:
- Joined quidco
- Signed up to Pru Health for £16.27 pcm (I'm 22, out of London, non-smoker, etc. etc, £1000 excess)
- Received a confirmation email from Pru
I checked my Quidco account today, and there are TWO items being tracked for Pru Health...
BOTH are status = Tracked* (with a star like that)
Anyone know what this means and why?
Also, can more people confirm that they got their Quidco £115 back easily?
Mine says I should get the money back in October.
And, what are the next steps to take now for the Gym???
Do I just wait til I get my policy in the mail, so I don't call them and stuff things up??? How long did it take for people to get theirs in the mail?
Am sure by the T and C that its all OK for the free membership so long as I do activate it by the 28/11/06.
But am so nervous, don't want to stuff up!!!
Cheers!
