Had a quick look at the website and notice it states the gym offer will be issued on receipt of the first months premium. My 1st DD will go out on 28/9/06. How long after this will they send my gym offer out? Thanks.
Phone them up about it.0 -

DO NOT phone them about it... If you phone them about it it will not track in Quidco!!!
Your documentation arrives after just a couple of days...
Your quidco tracks generally after the first direct debit has come out.
If you call before you get your documents / pay your first payment, you can jeapordise getting your Quidco...
Just be patient - you have til the 28/11 to ACTIVATE the gym membership...
BREATHE!!!

Your documentation DOES NOT mention the free gym thing, and this IS normal. Perfectly NORMAL...
Wait until your first DD comes out and your Quidco should track. THEN you call Holmes Place, and THEN call PruHealth to activate...
Its all outlined earlier in this thread...

Hi all
I've had a read of quite a lot of this but I still need some reassurance on some points as I'm new to all of this and a bit unsure. I'd really appreciate some support from all you experts out there!
1. The whole cashback thing sounds (a) very confusing, and (b) far too good to be true! Are they really going to pay me £115 for signing up to a deal that I was going to sign up to anyway?! Also, when I went to the Quidco site it started asking me all these confusing questions about downloading a different web browser and enabling cookies and disabling firewalls and God knows what. Quite apart from being a technophobe and therefore not even sure what it all means or how to do it; I'm concerned that following their instructions may compromise my security settings...
2. Some people have commented that after the initial 6 months, it's not always £25 a month to keep on your gym membership - it might be £50. How do I find out which clubs this applies to?
3. Someone else said that they'd joined their local Cannons through this deal and then separately arranged to upgrade their membership so they could use all the other clubs in the chain as well. Is this possible for Holmes place? It seems to me that the Ts and Cs prevent upgrading...
4. When I did a dummy run to see if I could find out the answer to question (2) above, I clicked through the links, got my quote, and got all the way through to the page where PruHealth were asking for Credit card details, without any further mention of gym membership being made. Is this right? I don't want to accidentally sign up to the wrong deal because I'm actually only in this for the gym membership...
Many thanks for your help

Ok, now I'm having an unusual problem no one else seems to have had. I'm trying to sign up but when I get to the 'enter your details' page it doesn't seem to accept my address. Every time I type it in and click to go forward it brings me back to the same page with a warning telling me I need to enter my address! I've tried refreshing the pages and starting again from the very beginning but to no avail.
Could this be because my flatmate has already signed up and there's some sort of hidden '1 application per household' rule?
I presume that if I ring them for help it will invalidate my Quidco cashback...?0
