  • I signed up with a Canons gym, filled out a form, and was given a membership number. However, before I contacted Pru to give them these details and activate my membership, Ive discovered a Holmes Place nearby as well which looks alot better. Is it too late to change my mind, bearing in mind I have not given Pru Health the Canon's details yet?. Pru reckoned it was only binding once i gave them the gym details and my allocated membership no, and they activated my gym membership on their system?. Is this the case? or could Canon's claim something against me given I signed this form at their gym?. Im confused, please help.

How many people have been able to add thier children ...My club said they didn't think it would be allowed but didn't sound 100% so now curious
Added my 7 year old to cannons aylesbury for £11 month and 3 year old free. I dont see why manager would have a problem as basically its an extra £11 quid to them for the use of a few towels plus fees towards the creche (unless you've got some budding Arnold Swarchneggars who want to do weights) !

Best thing to do is contact Pru Health.

I don't understand why any Londoner would want to join the HP branch in Bank (unless if it's the nearest). They don't seem to offer as much in terms of facilities when compared to certain other London branches and the gym itself appears to be pretty small:

  • Hi

Can anyone advise me how long it takes PruHealth to send out the documentation? I applied on Saturday 16th September, but I've not received anything from them so far, other than the email application comfirmation.

If I call them to find out if the docs been sent and lost in the post will that screw up my Quidco commission? It's just that if I've got to re-apply, I'll need to do so before Thursday ... so I'm not sure what to do!

    Many thanks,

Oh ok, because I remember having a converstion with the manager during the first run of this promotion.
He told me they hate it because it gnaws through their targets (and bonuses no doubt!) but there is nothing they can do because HO make them participate.
Maybe some managers have put their foot down and refused to allow their branches to take part.
Hmm explains why my local cannons wasn't quite so keen to give me a form when they find out I was paying via Pru. I managed to get out of the place without being given one, a stark contrast to them on the phone when I called to get prices.

I think it takes 5-7 working days to get those documents, but don't quote me on that!

  • Hi,

thelawman asked the question I was going to ask, but I only applied last Thursday! I'm assuming they may take longer if everyones applying for the free gym membership?

Would be good to know how long it took for people to get the documentation through in the past couple of weeks?

    Thanks,

    Maz
  • Hacks me off that martin plays down the quidco.com £115 cashback in his article.
I know this site needs to be funded but still.
So I thought I'd put a random reminder in here
