Not if youre under 25, a non-smoker, not obese, and do it through quidco...
Because if youre like me (a student, 22, not obese, non smoker, £1000 excess) and you use Quidco for the £115 cashback, £16.27 pcm premium) then you'll infact be getting PAID approx. £17 to have the membership...
I don't think any university gym will beat "-£17"LoL

receved my 115 today too - lovely!:beer:0

BTW - My quidco is STILL not tracked... It says "Tracked* £0, and says it twice!
I did it on the 14th of September.
Grrrr...
Should happen soon though I'm sure.
Did other people's Quidco come through AFTER the 1st DD, or before?
I got my DD letter today, said it'll come out on the 1st of every month.
Don't know whether I should query with Quidco yet...0 -

LoL
So over the whole year it would be cheaper, but admittedly most people reading this will not be students - so for most people it is a good deal.0 -

is it too late now to apply to benefit ??
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0 -
So how do you get the Holmes Place membership number to give to Pru. Do you book an appointment to view your local gym, and then get given it? Or do you need to say you want to join when you turn up? I presume the joining part would be free in that case?0

I applied last night and the amount of my first direct debit and the rebate amount is showing in Quidco.
I think your transaction has not tracked properly. I would recommend you query the transaction with Quidco.0 -
cropstar spend a few minutes reading the thread.
just applied online and its going to cost me about £5 for six months membership and normally costs me £60x6 (£320!) for the same membership in the same gym (just left last month in order to use the offer here instead).
so ive saved £315 over 6 months! and will save £35x6 after that (£210).
Total saved: £525 -thanks to everyone who put this info on here.0 -
How long does it take once you have joined for you to get back your £115 from quidco?0
