that post was made yesterday, does it still apply on 31/8/06? i.e. today!0 -
I didn't think of using the excess. Is it too late to change it in the 30 day cooling period.0

Good point. I've on the phone to them now...0

Hi antoniomontana, you will need to call 0800 092 6666 now to make sure u get it.
I did it online withouth realising this. Spoke to someone who was very helpful. They set it up for me and asked the usual questions that you get on the site.
Now I have to cancel my other one without the membership.
Beware it is very busy I had to wait 15 mins on hold to get through to someone. Confirmed that it was busy because everyone is trying to get the deal on the last day.
Get the person you spoke to name and extension just in case u have any probs in future0 -
thanks, got it done over the phone, he read a hell of a lot but got there in the end, any idea how we now get round to getting the free gym membership, apparently he was saying something about waiting fro the 1st premium to be taken etc0

Not sure to be honest with you. I think they send you the details in the post and you have till 21st October (is it) to decide. You then choose which one u want. Ring up pru with your card details and tell them, it will get arranged that way.
Anyone correct me.0 -
Just a word or caution for those thinking about delaying their joining the Gym.
I think that the T&Cs say that Gym membership will stop when the health plan membership is cancelled - so if someone cancelled after 6 months on the plan, they would presumably only have got 4 months membership if they had waited until end of October to join the Gym.
That begs the question - probably already answered in the thread of how quickest to activate the Gym membership - i.e. over the phone with a plan reference number perhaps? This too, shall pass.0 -
I plan to join a gym on sunday (all things willing). But I think your are probably right about it.
So to get it straight after the 6 months and you want to cancel the health plan, you can still be a member of the gym at the same rate if you pay £25 activation fee.0 -
well just applied and got it done online. else you won't get quidco will you?
do i need to ring up for some reason as well? is that to ensure i get the gym membership applied for before 31 Aug 06? (as clearly i have gone though the website today and applied)0
