I really need to get back on this wagon, I've fallen off dramatically and reverted back to caffeine and crisp breakfasts.0

Hi everyone.
Starting weight for skinnie-minnidom is 16st2lbs. This is a loss of 8lbs in the last six weeks, although unfortunately only 3lbs in the last month. I am fairly happy with this though, I have done a lot of socialising last month, and have a fair amount planned for the next month. Including a very messy hen weekend which I'm trying to recover from now! Feeling really positive at the moment, even though I've eaten a load of !!!! today, my boyfriend handed me a blueberry muffin, I took 2 bites then handed it back to him coz I didn't fancy it. Also gave away my dinner last night coz I wasn't hungry for it. 7lbs this month would be awesome.

It does, it's a fantastic feeling! I didn't think i was losing that much weight until i put on my favourite lonsdale tshirt on for the first time on Friday after it'd been packed away for the winter. It's got a really wide neckline that is meant to be on the shoulders - and for the first time it actually was - rather than just a normal tshirt with a bit of a big neckline. Was walking round Asda's with it slipping down one arm and baring my shoulder and thenn doing it all over again when I adjusted it :rotfl: I must have looked a complete fool but I was so chuffed that it actually fit properly
Finally believe I am actually losing weight now :rotfl:

I just had a crepe with nutella, but I was really mean with the nutella. Someone on Old Style was asking about crepes and the boys hadn't had their pud, so I judt "had" to make some. But I am disappointed that I can't make them without wanting to try, having said that I did only make enough for one each and used low fat spread and skimmed milk, and dried fried them, so not too bad. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Well done, jackie. All the 'naturally/permanently' slim people I know have plenty of treats, but have them in moderation - reasonable sized portions (and they often know how to stop when they're full and leave something on their plate). That's just what you've done. I saw that thread on OS too, fancy one (or two) myself now0 -
I'm in this month for 4lbs. Will weigh in tomorrow to find out my exact weight0

I've been a completely lazy ho this week and have eaten tons of rubbish so am expecting a bad weigh in tomorrow! My problem is I just can't plan and I never know what to eat at work (I work 10-930 3/4 days a week and boredom eat!).
Need to try and get back on track soon! And need to catch up with various threads too!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -

I did some Wiifit and dug out an old Vanessa Feltz video-don't laugh, it is very motivating, even though she does my head in. Couch to 5k is on my Ipod and the PaulMcKenna is out, too.I shall be dedicating 2hours every night Monday to Friday to myself, instead of watching TV or coming in here whilst OH is working night shift. That means exercise, relaxation, beauty therapy.
My excuse is that for years I have battled depression and low self esteem. I have shaken off the black dog but the comfort blanket of my big fat !!! needs to go now. No more calorific food because it tastes nice because it's the not the only thing which tastes nice.
My May starts here because there's no need to wait 2 days.
Thanks for listening, even if you never. This time I will do this, and see it through right to the end. (I'm not even sure if this is the purpose of the thread but I'm hoping it will help give me some focus?)

:T:T:T:T:T Great post jackie!!!! Looking forward to reading more of your posts xoI was just calorie counting and aiming for 1200 calories a day. Last month I bought a month of Weight to Go meals giving roughly 850 calories intake a day - replacing normal intake with 3 shakes and ready pack meals a day plus a portion of fruit and veg but I found the shakes a bit too sickly. So I started the day with a bowl of porridge instead. You have soup for lunch - about 100-130 calories but sometimes Id have something I fancied like a couple of low cal yoghurts instead. Most of the evening meals were quite tasty though.
Oh and I know Kate Moss got slammed for saying it in case it influenced young girls, but her "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" was something that went through my mind when Id go to the biscuit barrel and actually get out a biscuit to eat. I would think, this will be gone in about 20 seconds and I will feel miserable Ive added 100 calories for such little pleasure.
I remembered this again tonight when I was going to go for a my second biscuit... I was annoyed at myself for eating one but then told myself sternly that I was NOT having another. It felt good! The other thing I find is to eat the same as my OH but much smaller portions. Tonight for instance he wanted chicken curry and he wanted rice and a jacket potato with it. I had a small portion of the curry and a lot of salad with mine.
Oh, and the 10 calorie jelly is good tooHad that tonight with a dollop of low fat greek yoghurt. So you can still eat stuff you like but have a small portion and bulk it up with salad AND eat very slowly with a glass of water to hand. And think twice before you grab the ice cream tub instead of the greek yoghurt
What great ideas, thanks. I know I should eat smaller portions than OH, but my stomach has come to expect bigger portions since moving in with him, so it will need to be retrained!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
