Tara, I cooked a full english breakfast for my OH today - I was nearly drooling over it but I only stole a little bit of bacon off his plate. Id have loved to eat it but it would have been about 20 minutes of pleasure and a whole day of being angry with myself.
Im so determined to get this last stone or so off now for the summer.
So Ive just had a bowl of porridge today and a low fat Muller yog (55 calories) plus an orange for lunch. Now, thinking about dinner ...............0 -

Tara, I cooked rhubarb crumble to day too....but didn't eat it.
I'm being good with intake, apart from I am having a glass of red tonight.
Had a terrible nights sleep last night, and am really craving grapefruit now that not I'm not eating them all the time!0 -
OK been away for the BH weekend. OMG what is it with me and chocolate  I've eaten a massive bar nearly every day
:o:o Oh the shame of it.
Why can't I just eat like a normal person rather than suddenly acting as thought when I am on holiday all I have to do is eat
Anyway tomorrow is a new day and a new start. Going to tackle this weight loss a lb at a time. Need to drink LOTS more water and stop snacking when I am on the 'puter.
Going to read up on my portion sizes too.
Wish me luck - gonna need itI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

To be honest the best way is just not to buy any choc or biscuits or cakes - if they arent in the house you cant eat them. I have a bowl of fruit now and if Im craving choc or biscuits I slowly eat an apple.
We can all do this guys - I hate being a slave to food - just as I hated the ciggies and finally got off them nearly 4 years ago after 40 rotten years!
Take a day at a time but in your mind keep an image of a slim you in a really nice summer dress (Im thinking of a nice shift dress with a slash neck and a wide belt)

That is so true hethmar! If I have chocolate or biscuits in the house they call to me! :rotfl:
I'm seeing myself actually looking good in shorts!

Oh gawd, yes, shorts, its SO long since I wore those - at least 5 years. How lovely that would be on a hot summer day, instead of the usual jeans and jumper
Be honest guys, isnt that worth not eating those cakes and chips? When we get to our decent weight we can have a blow out now and then but keep vigilant so we dont have to go through this again!

Love the thread title!!
Can you put me in again this month. I weighed in today and it seems i lost 2lbs in the last week of april - yay0 -
Absent last month, got a bit busy looking for new work, sorted now, working in London again.
I managed to acquire 2lbs over the Easter break so I'll aim to go 10st 7lb back to 10st 5lb this month.
It was May last year when I first started on the 7lb club threads, how time flies0 -
taka, you can check out a rough idea of the ideal weight for you on the Boots site bmi chart. Dont take it too seriously though as they give my ideal weight as about 10 lbs less than it really is. I used to be a size 10 and spent my life reassuring everyone I wasnt dying from something so I was too thin and yet the BMI chart says that was my ideal! But it will give you a rough weight to aim for.
I was on the obese bit of the chart last year and now Im smugly on just the overweight bitI literally have half my bodyweight to loose...
What a depressing thought!
 My target is by christmas at the latest to no longer be classed as severely obese/morbidly obese and just be obese! *need roll eyes smiley here*:rotfl:
I'm hoping to get to work ~30 mins earlier and hence be able to leave 30 mins earlier and walk part of my route home (~1.6 miles=30 mins) as often as I can without me getting home too late (and risking buying rubbish on the way home as I'm hungry!). So far this month I walked 4 miles on Sunday and ~1.6miles yesterday.Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
