Valentina2 - Congrats on being Debt free! :T

I lost the grand total of 1/4 lb this week! :rotfl: I'm surprised I didn't gain as my food went haywire Wed onwards including 2 takeaways and much rubbish! Mostly due to work related stuff but... :o My emergency, oh crap I need to say in work late with no notice, food suppies need a fair bit of work and I NEED to eat breakfast EVERY DAY! Didn't get much walking in Wed-Sat either but managed 3 miles yesterday. :p
    Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

I've not been around much as my computer keeps crashing! It looks as though I could need to save for a new one (either lap top or desk top - don't mind which), so today I am going to spend checking mails and reading my new Veg Soc magazine which just arrived (and on Wednesday the BBC Vegetarian Summer Collection is out yay!) - tomorrow I want to get a table top sorted (videos boxed up and ready to go out into storage) and tidying and cleaning done (in the two hours I am awake LOL) - meanwhile :T:T:T:T:T:T to everyone (especially Valentina debt free ) - just off to update the opening post and to let you all know we have now shifted over 4 stone between us!

Hi! can I join your group, even though its nearly the end of May. (I kept seeing this thread, and didn't bother reading because I thought it was about someone called "May"!

If there is no room, can I be "Rolled over" (quite literally!) into the June group??? I have registered on the Calorie count website, which is bleedin fab btw! I have been toying with reducing/counting calories for a lil while, and thought I would give it a go to shift my slow-moving weight loss versus high inch loss.

anyway, it would be great to join in with you guys, as I find proper dieting hard work. I am well motivated on the exercise side though!! I favour dance aerobics, and dog walking for relaxation.

    I'll stop rattling on now....lol!
someone i know is safe and snug and they're drifting off to sleep. round and round a little boat, no bigger than your hand, out on the ocean far away from land, take the little sail down. light the little light. this is the way to the garden in the night...

Have you seen this comp, Dragon?

Thanks for all the congratulations on becoming debt feee. It took a lot of effort and willpower but I feel so relieved now. I completely changed my spending habits. Now I need to just get the weight under control! The next time I get birthday money form my parents I will actually be able to treat myself instead of paying off debts.

Pizza and salad for tea- but half a pizza (sharing with OH) is only 300 calories so ok.

Thanks for that Valentina - regrettably I got Cook Vegetarian for a while but found it not so good (a bit ... almost childish! Sorta "take a can of chickpeas, can of tomatoes, tub of yoghurt and mix" type of thing!) - but I am looking out for a book of Veggie curry recipes (nom!)
