Mine are just green leaves so far. I think they flower later than spring flowers.

Good morning all! This weather is mental! I hope it stays ok for tomorrow- I would so love to go to the drumpellier show! Going to have a go in the garden this afternoon, everything seems to be thriving, and have received my order through from Alan romans of some new seeds. Plus if you order over three packets, you get three packets free, and that was a surprise as I didn't notice it when I was ordering! Going to get them out this evening, once I have topped up on compost- AGAIN!
I am in the middle of a garden replan which thank goodness OH has agreed to! Going to lift up an old path and create a flower bed instead! Hopefully use it for a cut flower bed.
I am also going to try and help my poor lavender plant which has been neglected (not by me I have to say...!)
    Anyway...have a good day all!
Enjoy the sun and remember the sun screen if you are out and about in it!

Hi peeps, OMG I love this scorchio weather :D I don't bliddy care that it makes me feel really unwell most of the time, I am just glad to see and feel sunshine and warmth.
Cooking-mama those wee green pointy bits are your baby strawberries, and yes get the net on now or the birds will have a feast, you will need to make sure the fruits do not come into contact with the soil as it will rot them, I usually nip into the supermarket and buy a wee bag of straw ( Hamster bedding straw) and place it under and around the plants. You will be surprised how quickly the fruits grow!! Just keep them well watered and let us all know when you go out, spot the first ripe fruit and eat it straight from the plant, on your own, on the garden. It is the best taste ever, especially if it has been warmed in the sun:D
Glad you are feeling better GarnetLady:T Hope you can make the Drumpellier show, buy some plants and take a wander round the loch, the swans, coots and ducks are all my sweethearts, I tell them all my troubles and happinesses every day, and they never seem to get fed up listening to me:rotfl:
Old lady is well pleased with her garden, I planted up some perennials from my garden to hers for her and she thought she had won the pools.
My plot is blossoming, the carrots are getting there, the potatos are growing like crazy, but the best is discovering that the lavender, I thought I had lost two years ago has reappeared from nowhere:D five wee three inch high sprouts, and they smell like heaven.
Today saw me digging out my very loved now very dead Ceoanthus, so all of my limbs ache and I feel very very sad at losing such a lovely plant.
Right peeps I am off, a small brandy awaits hope you all had a lovely day in the sun, be back tomorrow to tell of my plant buying exploits.
Remember we may have heavy showers and thunder tonight and tomorrow so protect all those tender plants.

I have had a white ( well that what it says on the label) lilac planted for three years and have never seen a flower on it yet!!!!!!!!!
