Hi I too am having terrible problems with webworks. I have just paid them over £400 for this year's so called renewal in March. Then, last week, I had a bill for over £700 to renew the SEO. I challenged them on this and said I had already paid for the renewal of SEO but they said no, I only paid for content renewal. They then threatened me that, if I did not pay the extra £700 plus, my website would be virtually useless!!!!! Help ........I do not like the way I'm being treated. Who is the best person to contact for legal advice? Any help would be much appreciated.

Excuse me, i never write on forums or anything else for that matter. however these posts almost made me never sign up to this company in the first place. which im happy i did actually who are you to question me, this is why i dont use these public forums, hear about smart !!!!!! sat behind a computer thinking they know everything.

    holistictherapist-angi.co.uk

is my website and im number one in thirsk searches and it does perfectly for me in comparison to yell.com and many others.

i think if anything you need to read and troll the other people on here advertising websites whilst complaining about a company ive found decent, and is still active so this post or forum or whatever is still relevent.

anyway im not checking this forum again i said my bit. however i will be back if they decide to screw me over in any way shape or form to do the complete oposite.

How come you now use Justhost?

No idea what this means, and having asked the originator I've been told to go away. Perhaps Angie is right, these forums are full of self important know it alls.

Anyway, thanks again for the very kind comments, coffeypot.

I take it you didn't actually read the T&Cs when you joined the forum, even though you ticked to say you had? Otherwise you'd know that you're not allowed to advertise on the forum.

I didn't ask you to PM me, indeed I simply deleted your first PM, and I felt no compulsion to spell this out. But since you seem to be struggling with a popular term ... mystery meat = tinned meat of dubious origin = spam.

I'm not advertising anything. I'm simply responding to a kind message from one of my customers. Hope this helps.

How is it advertising? I haven't offered anyone any services. Anyway, I think I'll avoid this forum from here on in. Thanks for the warm welcome though.

There's no live link just saying who he is.

    Not a crime is it?
