  • LIKE SO MANY I GET ANGRIER EVERYTIME I SEE HOW TESCO TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS OVER R&R.

REMEMBER IT IS TESCOS WHO ARE AT FAULT. WE HAVE ENOUGH EVIDENCE THAT THEY CONTINUE TO KNOWINGLY OVERCHARGE. AND WE KNOW T/S ARE IMPOTENT.

DO YOU ALL AGREE THAT WE SHOULD SPEND OUR TIME FINDING THE LEGAL POSITION IN OUR POSITION IN CLAIMING R&R, AND THERBY MAKING A CLEAR STATEMENT THAT WE ALL CAN USE.

So glad to find you all here. Have been doing this for a couple of years, and plenty of experiences to share!!

Sorry, I just want to make sure I've got this straight. At my Tesco it said xbox and PS2 and game save £20. The yellow sticker had a date of 31/08/06. I can't remember which game had a yellow sticker but it was not over the hedge.

If I buy a ps2 or xbox plus over the hedge am I correct in thinking the £20 will not come off and therefore I will be entitled to r & r I think the ps2 was £99.97 and over the hegge was £20ish?

Yep, you'd be entitled to a refund. In the stores I've been in, the POS is misleading in that it does not state that the offer only applies to certain games. If you buy a PS2 with Over The Hedge, the £20 won't come off, as Over The Hedge isn't one of the offer games (you'll be charged £127.96 or so). Same applies to the Xbox 360.

Mcdonag - was going to ask you...did you call HO about all the stores you visited yesterday? If so, did they not ask why you had tried to purchase the same items in three different stores, knowing that you would be overcharged after the first store? Have you had any news yet?

Xbox 360 discount only works with one specific game. I can't remember which game it is, though. As said earlier, if it does come off, just change your mind and get a full refund.

McDonag, you tried the Xbox 360...did the discount come off? Which game did you buy with it?

    Hi mate,

Tried it with Soccer game, Prey and other random ones. In my cases non of them worked. Not only game of the week but others too.

The reasoning for not using game of the week for some of them was that I was getting the consoles for my children and most of the games of the weeks were 18's, therefor unsuitable for children.

    For info.

Head Office did not call me back yesterday and I guess that I will have to wait until Tuesday now for resolution on all my 3 queries.
