No, mine is "darn Sarf".....outskirts of North London.

I always get all inspired reading this thread and want to nip out to Tescos but always come back having spent money and no R&R. If Tesco HO ARE reading this then they'll just be rubbing their hands with glee!:D

The reason why most of these misprices are correctled almost straight away is that a lot of staff from Tescos HQ monitor this site, thats why for instance you will be very lucky if you find any Aero Chunky Bars in any of the stores. Especially if we name the store.

I'd suggest either PM-ing people or perhaps a group discussion over MSN.

I for one, will never post misprices on here again nor the store. Of course, I'll read the threads. :D

Admittedly Sir Terry does not run everything by me, but I would be astounded if this site is monitored in anything like an official way.

It just does not happen. I wish it did...

It would be easy for them to watch this thread, and send out an email or memo or whatever to each store...

    That does not happen.

They definately know about this site,in fact the CS referred to one poster on here by his/her user name(i forget who). They had put down a misprice on here+the store in question, the next time they went in it was "hello ..........".I simply cannot believe anyone who works in price integrity does not check the misprices in their particular store which have been posted on this site,& this is not a dig at our MR.T posters as i cant blame them,i know i would do the same in their position.

I used to, only look at the miss price thread once a week or so now.

can i be on your pm-ing list?
  • Re the aero chunk truffle 3 pack, I found that they had them in my store with the "2 for £2" offer but the sel label didn't expire until Sept. Can anyone tell me if they are all like this and scanning through at the full price regardless, as I didn't want to buy them to then find they do go through at £2. Thanx.
Don't you just hate long signatures

In my local store the offer goes thru but I went to another store and it didn't so it's pot luck really.
You can always say you don't want them and ask for refund!

When I said I hadn't left the store the duty manager said she had to go and check something I would be back. Anyone else had this nonsense about leaving the store? As far as I'm concerned as soon as I've paid and got the stock in my hands that's it.

I had the same coment at Bedford Cardington about 10 months ago.
A CS lady said that if I hadn't left the store I could only have the difference.
I said I had left the store as I had been to my car! She said that if you hadn't gone out of the car park then I hadn't left the store! I then said I could either take here name and speak to HO or speak to her manager now!
I spoke to her manager who said he would immediately put her right on the policy!

Don't listen to any rubbish. The policy is quite clear and as long as I am 100% sure, before I buy, then I never fail! Always keep calm and stand your ground!
