Firstly, this is the discussion thread and secondly, no I don't think its disingenious. I regularly PM regulars on here and vice versa. Quite often before the same misprices are then posted on here.

The thread is here for all to see and read whether they choose to post or not, so therefore what is wrong with putting it into writing what many people think anyway. Just because you are clearly offended. Tough. I don't many of your posts anyway so whats your problem? I've got better things to do with my time than justify myself to you.

Quite right this is the discussion thread..your point being? I never said you couldn't discuss things on here did I? I'm not offended in the least, I just think its a bit of a poor show not to share the misprices round, which it seems you do in private. Fair enough, however I thought the whole point of this site was to help, encourage and share moneysaving with other MSE'ers, thats the point I was making , not asking you to justify yourself to me. If you don't like other peoples opinions then perhaps a discussion thread is not for you:p .

    And what does
I don't many of your posts anyway so whats your problem?
    mean anyway?

Perhaps you should learn to relax and not take things so personally:rolleyes:

  • Im very relaxed thank you..having a fag and a whisky sour..

I'd missed out the word 'see' in my previous posting. (I don't SEE many of your posts anyway so whats your problem?)

And I think this "If you don't like other peoples opinions then perhaps a discussion thread is not for you" applies to you dear, not me. Your the one that chose to reply with such rhetoric because you disagreed with what I wrote. :rotfl:

My point being in response to YOUR point being "Its really geting on my nerves people chatting in the post misprices only thread!" when if you care to look at the title of your browser you will see that it is the misprices discussion thread.
  • Incidently gt568, like I said earlier, I don't have a problem posting R & R misprices direct but believe we should be more covert about this, hence my reasons for the original post.

I post any misprices that I find, sadly I don't mind them as often as I want, oh well.

I did disagree with your opinion, but what "rhetoric" are you speaking of, I enquired about your post, you answered, and as I said previously fair enough. I would certainly say you "bit" far more than I.

Indeed I am well aware that this is a misprices thread:T , however this is the discussion thread, ergo discussion will occur. If you had read my post clearly you would have seen that it is getting on my nerves people chatting in the Tesco misprices thread III - please only post misprices here thread. One thread for disussion, one for misprices only, I think thats pretty clear. Now in order to prevent this from straying anymore off topic, if you wish to contnue this debate I would suggest we do so via PM.

As I said fair enough, perhaps I misunderstood the tone of your post. Although I still don't buy into the idea of HO watching this site all day for a few misprices.

  • It would be easy for them to watch this thread, and send out an email or memo or whatever to each store...

However, its quite clear that they only seem to correct misprices when an individual lets them know of the misprice, or they notice it themselves.

EG. The Bluetooth headsets, lots of people got these, and yet a week on, someone I know managed to get another couple from another part of the country.

It does seem like a lot of new people are jumping on the bandwagon and using the infomation posted by the few who share ALL their misprices (thank you). This could create suspicion at head office when they probably know about this site anyway.

They definately know about this site,in fact the CS referred to one poster on here by his/her user name(i forget who). They had put down a misprice on here+the store in question, the next time they went in it was "hello ..........".I simply cannot believe anyone who works in price integrity does not check the misprices in their particular store which have been posted on this site,& this is not a dig at our MR.T posters as i cant blame them,i know i would do the same in their position.

    I've been Money Tipped!
should have had an R+R today on 3 for £1.90 juices. but took so long in the store the labels had been changed by the time I went to CS.

Couldn't be bothered to argue over £4 as was buying juice anyway and CS are lovely whenever I do r+r. Maybe I do stand out a little though as I write down every price in my book...maybe those with the zappers spotted me and checked all the labels of the items I bought.

Am feeling very disheartened with this R&R lark......my local Tescos is soooo sharp and even though I always have a good search and note what's posted on here, there's never a thing to be had - manager must read these boards!

Just found lamb joint in foil tray, SEL £3.98, pack marked £4.99 plus expired blueberry offer with stickers still in place and SEL not removed. I was shaking as I went through checkout thinking "OMG my first good R&R".......er....no! Everything scanned correctly. . And before anyone says to use the in-store scanners, my local shop doesn't have any - the only one has been out of order for as long as I can remember.

    You lot are SOOOO lucky!!!

It's not Chesterfield, is it? I can never get misprices there and have emailed Cust Services at HQ to get them to fix the scanner as it's been out of order at least all this year! They replied to say they would get the store to sort it - it now has an out of order sign on - wow!!

Perhaps if you email too / or about your store they might get on the case!

  • Well I had no luck today at my local big Tescos in Cardiff. Couldn't find the sudoku gameboy, the truffles had no SEL and the meat all seemed in order.

I did however get my shopping from just under £120 to £79 using vouchers and bogofs and bagged 900 points too so not all bad. Checked my receipt when I got in the car and my galia melons were on offer or 68p each - I knew that because usually I buy one and as my receipt did not show a reduction thought YEAH found a new misprice for you lot

Anyway, on checking with the store - the melons should have been 2 for £1.50 which means that they undercharged me by 22p. So no R&Rs for me today.
